• Justice for Native Peoples
American Indians and Alaskan natives are among the most impoverished and marginalized groups in the United States. Their tribes have often been decimated by the spread of infectious diseases. The coronavirus has caused major problems for indigenous peoples. Because of treaties, the Federal government is responsible for protecting the health and safety of American Indians and Alaskan natives. The year 2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the establishment of Plymouth Colony. What do Americans want to celebrate on Thanksgiving Day?

  • Have Donald Trump arrested for his crimes..
I;m a concerned citizen who cares about these people, and what he's doing is a felony. The Hospital staff is scared of dying due to The Corona virus, and the hospital staff members walked out of the hospitals and protested that they medical supplies and equipment real bad, and Donald Trump lied that there's a low supply of it until The news media showed that Donald Trump has lied to us and there's stock piles of medical supplies and medical equipment in the ware house, and won't let the hospitals have them right away that'll cause more deaths against the patients and the staff. Which is illegal, and it's a felony!

There are too many senior citizens and disabled citizens who cannot get out to buy food, let alone have anything delivered. Disabled and seniors living in rural areas, as well as cities, have been hit particularly hard by this outbreak. They need help. Too many disabled citizens are fighting this alone, and they, along with seniors, are going without even the basic necessities. I am hearing from friends within the disabled community that there is little to no support for them through this. They need help now, not weeks from now, but immediate, tangible help and support. As we fight this together, it is incumbent upon us to ensure that no members of our communities are left behind.

  • Bring Brenna Back
Northland Health Center terminated a reputable health care provider with zero regard to our community as well as surrounding communities during a national pandemic. Brenna is an amazing provider who has shown time and time again that she loves her job, works diligently for every patient, and loves her community. We want Brenna back!

  • Our Healthcare Workers are being Traumatized
First Responders, Physicians, Nurses and all support staff are being exposed to psychological trauma as they respond to patients with Covid-19. Every day they face multiple traumatizing experiences: inadequate medical supplies making it impossible to render the care they were trained to deliver, personal physical danger, relentless hours, separation from their families and in some cases having to make desperate moral choices about which patient receives treatment. They have not been prepared for this onslaught, level of exhaustion and depletion. The authorities have not seen fit to provide training on handling extreme stress nor have the authorities seen fit to offer stress debriefing which has been shown to lessen the damaging effects of trauma. Our first responders and healthcare workers are suffering psychological and moral wounding as they try to save us. Past studies after SARS demonstrate that a significant percentage of them will develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result. This will likely be debilitating for many of them, their families and will impact our entire healthcare system. We can do better. We can back up the people who are putting their well-being on the line for us by demanding they be provided with well researched on-site training and support. Tell Alex Azar to stop taking advantage of our sisters and brothers who are trying to take care of the desperately ill. Tell Alex Azar to use his authority to demand they be supported and cared for right now.

  • Keep OUR President on air
There are many people signing a petition to silence our president. In the beginning of this outbreak our President tried closing our borders. These same people called him racist. The democrats are trying to push their agendas on us. They are holding americans hostage with their pork filled urgent stimulus bills. They are black mailing the president (ultimately all Americans). They want to record everything and edit and twist what they want too. They cry that he isn't doing anything. What ever he says or does it is wrong. This is not a democrat or republican issue. The antics of the democrats are a disgrace to this country.

  • Forgive student loan debt for doctors, nurses, and health professionals
Health professionals carry crushing loads of student debt, from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now they are like soldiers in war, saving lives while risking their own and protecting the rest of us, and many have already died while doing their duty. Without the debt burden more would work in lower-paying specialties like family practice, or in underserved rural and urban areas. Society would benefit both in health and economically for many years to come, just as America benefited from the GI Bill.

  • Keep people safe: Issue a stay at home order in every state
I've been a doctor for 35 years and I want our country to listen to medical health professionals in this crisis. Staying at home as much as possible works. We've seen it work in Italy, China, and in areas of the U.S. to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus. However, millions of people live in several states that have not mandated a stay-at-home order. Everyone deserves to be protected in this crisis as much as possible - we need a federal stay at home order, and every Governor must copy it for their state. If we don't practice physical distancing, then we will continue the exponential growth that I saw in my community and across the country. While some tried to trivialize the impact of the coronavirus just weeks ago we are now seeing over 200,000 reported cases in the United States and more than 5,000 deaths—not to mention record job losses and other immense damage to our nation. Experts say we may end up with hundreds of thousands dead in the United States alone. As a doctor, I am seeing hospitals scramble for the equipment needed to treat the thousands already infected. Staying home slows the rate of infection and will help ease the demand on our already strained healthcare system. It is never too late to act. The U.S. has been slow to react to this global pandemic, but expanding the stay at home orders has the potential to save thousands of lives. We all need to work together, this only works if everyone, in every state stays home because our health is all interconnected. President Trump has said distancing should continue through the end of April, but this needs to be required. Actions speak louder than words - declare a national stay at home order now! We know it works and doctors and other health care providers are willing to put their own lives on the line, this doctor thinks it is more than reasonable to ask EVERY governor and the President to do the right thing and do it NOW, before more lives are needlessly lost.

  • CONGRESS: Get to work and lead us through this crisis
The Coronavirus pandemic is a crisis unlike anything that Americans have ever experienced before. Our hospitals are overwhelmed. Our people are dying. Our neighbors are losing their jobs, struggling to pay rent and bills, and scared about the future. At a moment like this, we need leadership. We need our government up and running and responding to the crisis as it unfolds. But, right now, Congress is in recess until April 20. It’s time for Congress to get back to work and take up the legislation that will steer us out of this crisis. Without Congress, President Trump is stumbling through this pandemic, costing people their lives. We understand the health risks to members of Congress and that is exactly why Congress should change its rules so that members can work and vote remotely during the outbreak. In this era of technology, there is no reason that Congress cannot debate crisis legislation from each and every state across America and vote on rescue bills from the safety of their homes. Millions of Americans are working, keeping this country up and running. Congress must do the same. Sign this petition to demand that Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader McConnell support temporary changes to the House and Senate rules so that Congress can continue to address legislation that will end this crisis and save lives.

  • Protective Equipment for All Essential Workers
If first responders or essential workers catch the virus, they will spread it rapidly by their high-contact jobs. If they themselves cannot work, there will be many unnecessary deaths. If healthcare workers cannot take care of the sick, many will die. If the supply chain is broken, many will be affected and die without needed medicine and food. It is counter productive to have all 50 states bidding against each other during this crisis.

  • Invoke The 25th Amendment: President Trump believes he is still on a reality TV show.
President Trump's recent comments comparing his Presidential briefings on the deadly coronavirus pandemic with a reality show named "The Bachelor" is clear indication that he does not have a grasp of the reality of his surroundings or the seriousness of the current state of The Union. He appears to believe that he is still on a reality television show.

  • Who is in the way of getting Pandemic medical equipment produced?
Gov. Cuomo announced this week that there are many private companies willing to join this effort but they need the capital to do that, and it has to come from the Federal Government. We've heard of many companies around the country pitching in who are trying to finance without federal aid. In World War II, the government at first tried to lure private industry using financial tools such as tax incentives and write-offs of capital investments. They lost valuable time before they realized it wasn't going to work that way so, using the DPA, they had to guarantee the companies they would purchase the products they needed. IF you agree that we don't have the luxury of time, will you please join this petition to send this message?
