Chronic Pain Is Real; Opiates Do Not KillBecause I feel like Chronic Pain sufferers like Myself are going to end up living in severe Pain for the rest of our lives. I have had Chronic Pain most of My life. I am a 57-year-old female Who was born with Congenital Scoliosis that affects My neck, back, and legs. I am never pain-free, but where would I be without the pain meds? This is a question that I hope is not answered for Me by Our State Representatives..... I speak for the people who are Chronic Pain sufferers that have no idea how they will function on a daily basis without pain medication. Please take into consideration that not all people who take Pain Medication are Drug Abusers. If You really think about it, Saying Opioids Kill Is liken to Saying Guns Kill!56 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tina Roberts

Medicare/CDPHP Insurance Denied Treatment for Rare Form of Cancer/Out of State Treatment for Joyc...Joyce's local doctor can no longer treat her and her only treatment option is at Bringham Women's Hospital in Boston. Medicare and CDPHP have denied this surgery as the hospital is out of state. She has dedicated her life to helping others in the community, raising 13 children of her own and developing the leaders of tomorrow through Mother Teresa Academy (a Non-Profit school that she founded). She has a lifetime of giving back to the community and now it is our time to give back to her and send a clear message to the insurance companies to approve her claim for the surgery that is needed. Help Joyce get the care she needs to continue her mission in life by signing this petition.288 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Terra Maddalone-Ristau

Please protect the students of New Haven Residential Treatment CenterNew Haven Residential Treatment Center has been abusing and neglecting minors with mental health who have been placed in their care. Students are threatened not to talk, including removing phone privileges and contact with the outside world, in order to prevent them from speaking out. All staff are legally mandated reporters, yet the incidents are majorly underreported. Most incidents are shoved under the rug as "attention seeking" or "behavioral issues." Students who attempted to leave campus to call the cops were physically restrained and lost phone privileges. Alumni started to post on their Facebook page. Reviews were turned off and posts were deleted. New Haven should be a haven first and a business second. They have refrained from responding to reports of abuse in order to save face, completely neglecting the needs of those they claim to help. Please hold New Haven liable for their actions and protect the girls there currently. Give them a voice! http://fox13now.com/2017/09/26/utah-county-therapist-arrested-for-alleged-sexual-abuse-of-underage-girl/ This incident happened at New Haven, yet they have not commented on it and their name was emitted from the article. Please stop protecting this horrible institution!! Their business and money don't matter when the lives of so many teens are at risk!951 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Jane Doe

Publicly Reprimand Senator Gardner For Dereliction Of DutySenator Gardner is not only voting for repeal of the ACA; he is leading the charge in the Senate. Threatening his fellow Repugnants with campaign finance... I don't know about you, but I want a Senator who will serve our interests in Congress, not the illegitimate unwarranted influences and interests of the Koch brothers, big oil, and pharmaceuticals... As this points out eloquently, Republican representatives do not govern in the best interest of their constituency. They are corrupted by fiscal special interests who drive their legislative agenda. Financially empowered lobbyists control on average 50 to 55% of Republican reelection campaign financing. Campaign finance reform is essential in order to restore representative legitimacy to our councils of government... "This just in from The New York Times about Colorado's Republican U.S. Senator, Cory Gardner, and his role in the debate over a new bill to repeal Obamacare: "As more than 40 subdued Republican senators lunched on Chik-fil-A at a closed-door session last week, Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado painted a dire picture for his colleagues. Campaign fund-raising was drying up, he said, because of the widespread disappointment among donors over the inability of the Republican Senate to repeal the Affordable Care Act or do much of anything else." The Times cites Gardner as being "in charge of his party’s midterm re-election push" and saying donors are furious. Then there's this: "Mr. Gardner told his colleagues that a major Colorado contributor who played a role in his own campaign says party donors are reluctant to give any more money until congressional Republicans demonstrate results." The donor is not named in the Times piece." Cory is driven by one thing, the lobbyists who represent the fiscal special interests who donate about 55% of his congressional reelection campaign funds. He serves the interests of the fiscal special interests and must be voted out of office. We should start a public petition to officially publicly reprimand Senator Gardner for dereliction of duty in support of legislation that would significantly harm and or kill members of his constituency... In kind, the complicit pawn Ken Buck should also be reprimanded for dereliction of duty and due diligence in considering legislation that would inflict significant harm and death upon members of his constituency. I believe that integrity and the public interests must once again cog the wheels of governance. I believe that a public official, written, and state-approved reprimand is more than appropriate. We the people must hold our representatives accountable as Congress currently lacks the ability to do so. Semper Fi Isaac Ian McCorkle Combat Wounded USMC RETIRED63 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Isaac

The Senate should vote against bill sponsored by Senator Lindsay Graham to repeal and replace the...The Republican Party is once again trying to push through a bill that is basically no different than all other bills that both the Senate and the American people have rejected. It is time to put an end to passing legislation that will drastically cut Medicaid and force millions off of Health Insurance as well as cause premiums to rise and make it nearly impossible for many who have pre-existing conditions to be able to afford treatment. The time has come to take partisan politics out of HealthCare- and instead, both parties should begin to work towards a system that will either improve the Affordable Care Act-- or better to create a system based on Single Payer Medicare. Stop putting the American People at risk - fix it....don't repeal and replace it.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael Steiner

Senators: Defeat the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare Repeal ProposalI'm a retired physician who believes we need to save lives by passing the Conyers House bill and the Sanders Senate Bill for Single payer--improved Medicare for All. This is the only healthcare bill that will help all Americans achieve access to healthcare. In the interim, until Medicare for All is passed, we must defeat all versions of Trump Care like the present deadly Cassidy Graham proposal in the Senate. Obamacare will need to continue until WE THE PEOPLE have the right progressives candidates to pass Medicare for All.78,727 of 100,000 SignaturesCreated by Michael Rushnak
