    The "gang of 8" wants no more than about 25% more future legal immigration than we have now. Calling that "reform" is like saying "we are doing immigrants a great big huge favor, to allow any to come at all." Meanwhile economists are telling us the more legal immigration we allow, the more dramatically our economy will grow; the better jobs there will be for citizens; and the more taxes we will collect towards our crushing deficit. America needs immigrants more desperately than immigrants need America.

    I am starting this petition because I want to make sure the 11 million immigrants in this country get a chance at the American Dream. I want your support in this immigration bill, to help save families from being separated as was mine in 2010, when my husband went through the very emotional immigration process. I feel no child should have to spend a birthday, Easter or any day without their parent because of our broken immigration system.

  • Support a Path to Citizenship
    We have interviewed both documented and undocumented immigrants who have cited the difficulties they have faced in gaining citizenship. Often times, students obtain degrees but are unable to work because of their legal status. Families are separated because of deportation, and immigrants cannot escape poverty due to limited employment opportunities. A path to citizenship would be beneficial for all Americans.

  • MOTHER'S INSTINCT
    Many mothers are loosing children due to medical malpractice in hospitals everyday. There is a statue of limitations of 18 years to present any negligent findings to the courts. I personally have been effected by this serious issue, and want more investigations, and persons held accountable for their negligent actions.
