  • Tell Judge George Sexton To give Avery Bell and James Callis a real sentence!
Justice needs to be done for these poor dogs. Not only were they abused because of dog fighting, but these animals were also tortured. 65 abused, suffering dogs living with heavy chains around their necks were found on the property. “Some of them were so malnourished, with skin stretched so tightly over their bones, that they had open sores just from sitting on the ground.” One of the female pit bulls rescued during the operation, named Honor by the ARC volunteers, even had all of her teeth removed, most likely so she could not fight back during forced breeding in a "rape cage". ARC volunteers named her Honor for her quiet, broken spirit and yet her readiness to trust and love immediately. How could Judge George Sexton let these monsters (Avery Bell, James Callis) go without being punished for committing countless heinous acts of cruelty? What kind of message does he think he is sending to the public? Or does he not care? You can also contact Judge sexton at: PHONE 931-296-7671 or 931-296-4544 MAIL Judge George Sexton Humphreys County Courthouse 102 Thompson Street Room #205 Waverly, TN 37185

  • Petition to Adopt Pumpkin Pie as the Illinois State Pie
We are the American Pie Council, a nationwide, non profit organization, located in Illinois, dedicated to the celebration, promotion and preservation of America's Pie Heritage and we would like to see pumpkin pie adopted as the official state pie of Illinois. Illinois produces 3 times as many pumpkins as any other state in the union, process 90-95% of the country's pumpkin and produces 85% of the world's canned pumpkin.

  • Our children deserve more from their Education
No child should have to fear judgment or retaliation from professional staff within our school districts. According to emails that have been forced public by the "Right To Know Law" cited by the KEYSTONE PROGRESS EDUCATION LAW and by Billplay.com. The South Williamsport School District Officials ( High School Principal, Superintendent, and School Board President) have been publicly confronted on their behavior pertaining to the sexual orientation of not only the student body but a play that was to take place within our school that was cancelled due to our Principal stating "He had concerns about the homosexual content of the play" and the Superintendent and School Board President attending a public forum and lying about it and stating that not such emails existed and making negative statements about bullying, such as bullying is a natural part of growing up, that bullying occurs all the time in their schools, that every child is subject to bullying, and that school officials and teachers cannot do anything to stop bullying. Bullying is to be legally reported by the District to state yet no reports have been made? I would like to see the District held accountable for its statements and the inappropriate educational philosophy/message forced on our children. There needs to be change , acceptance, and 0 tolerance for bullying in order for success to prevail in this District. Please visit both sites mentioned above for all released emails and video of bullying philosophy presented by the Superintendent and the School Board President.

  • STOP WATER FLUORIDATION
Unlike every other chemical added to treat the water, fluoride is added to treat people. The CDC (1999) and the National Research Council (2006) have both stated that the fluoride benefit is topical and not systemic. Ingesting fluoride is harmful in a multitude of ways and has no effect on tooth decay.

  • ASL Ice Bucket Challenge- Steven Moffat
Steven Moffat killed off Amy, River, and Rory. Not to mention he created those blasted Weeping Angels that haunt me at night. I believe he deserves to get drenched in ice cold water. Plus it would be hilarious to watch.

  • Saving Neverland
To keep Michael Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch from being sold. His fans would love to be able to visit, just like Graceland in Tennessee; and just like Graceland, Neverland could bring in a lot of revenue for the State of California, which we know is needed. This would bring well needed taxes to our state plus jobs, which are needed. It also would bring visitors from all over the world, who will need hotels, food and shopping, which will bring in more income to the State of California.

  • Mayor Nutter: Throw the Taney Dragons a Championship Parade
This summer, a team of kids has shown what great things can be accomplished with heart and hard work. When the Taney Dragons come home from the Little League World Series, Philadelphia should give them the championship parade they deserve. It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive, but these kids, their parents, and their coaches have done our city proud, going further in this championship than any Philadelphia team ever has. The Taney Dragons have broken records: the first Philadelphia team to win a state Little League championship, and the first to become regional Mid-Atlantic champions. They're exciting national and international baseball fans with their incredible talent and teamwork, inspiring a new generation of Philly kids to believe they can accomplish great things, and reminding us all of Philly's fighting spirit. They feature a groundbreaking female pitcher who is one of the best of any gender. They are racially diverse, and many of them attend Philly's public schools. As their biggest fans - their parents - like to say, "They're tough and gritty, those kids from the city!" We know the Taney Dragons didn't make it all the way, but they're already true champions, and Philly should throw them a championship celebration.

  • Stop Idaho's Next Wolf-Killing Derby
A radical anti-wolf group has applied to the Bureau of Land Management for permission to hold a wolf and coyote killing "derby" on public lands surrounding the Salmon, Idaho, area. This is the second derby in the same area organized by the group Idaho for Wildlife. The contest has historically awarded prizes for the most carcasses and for the largest wolf carcass taken by participants. Contests like this have no place on public lands. They put individuals, pets, and native wildlife at great peril and are in complete opposition to responsible, ethical hunting. Please ask the Bureau of Land Management to deny permission for the proposed wolf and coyote killing derby in the Salmon, Idaho, area.

  • Moratorium on Red Light Cameras in Chicago
It is only fair to the people that drive the streets of Chicago that a moratorium be placed on the automated traffic violation system, or red light camera system, until it has been determined that the process is fair and just. Fair and just practices should be the goal of government in Illinois, as it aims to protect the welfare and safety of everyone living in and visiting Illinois.
