NFL Viking's Management: At the least, deactivate Adrian Peterson.Hitting your child in the testicles, putting leaves in your child's mouth, leaving lasting bloody marks on your child, and beating him with a switch is considered abuse. The excuse that this is how Adrian Peterson was beaten as a child is not a valid excuse. If Ray Rice had said that he had seen his mother abused when he was a child, would that have made the video any less gruesome? Given Adrian Peterson's publicity, his actions and NFL/Vikings management's reactions leave an impression on society. Viking's management must at least do the bare minimum and deactivate Adrian Peterson, for the sake of the NFL's punishment process, and to send a signal to every parent, that abuse of an innocent child is an abomination.107 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Eduardo Zevallos

ISC Gunners FC. Enough! We want a new board NOW!Wait…isn’t this supposed to be about the kids? This is supposed to be a club that is, from its own website, “dedicated to teaching our youth the remarkable game of soccer while promoting sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork.” This email and the apparent events of the past several months (years?) clearly indicates this board is incapable of leading by its own values. Sportsmanship? Discipline? Teamwork? Hardly. Instead, as parents and coaches, we are watching a political nightmare and what appears to be an abuse of power. Financial improprieties?…conflicts of interest?…misuse of club’s membership directory? And yet, all we get is a vague email assuring us that everything is ok and the board is going to do a better job now? We have lost all trust and confidence in the board oversight of this club. This is behavior we would not tolerate in our children and we should not tolerate it in our so-called “leaders”.349 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Michael Hirsch

Get The Live Lobster Tanks out of Publix SupermarketsPublix claims that shopping in their stores is a "pleasure".. Which is true in most instances. Having to walk past a tank of Live Lobsters which are obviously suffering while waiting to be bought and boiled alive is DISTURBING.. And shows a lack of compassion on the part of the store.530 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Donna schuster

Support Safe Internet Access at Montgomery County Public SchoolsBeing able to access the internet at school is important for learning in the 21st century. It is also important our children access it through safe technology. The World Health Organization has classified Wi-Fi as being potentially carcinogenic. Therefore, we need to explore the alternatives to Wi-Fi that exist to ensure our children can realize the benefits of the internet without the potential health risks from the radiation emitted by wireless devices. We believe children and staff have a right to a safe school environment. On October 3, 2012 , the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) approved a warning about Wi-Fi in schools in which the AAEM stated:“Adverse health effects from wireless radio frequency fields, such as learning disabilities, altered immune responses, and headaches, clearly exist and are well documented in the scientific literature. Safer technology, such as use of hard-wiring, is strongly recommended in schools.” Dr. Martha Herbert, a pediatric neurologist and neuroscientist on the faculty of the Harvard Medical School of Medicine and on the staff at Massachusetts General Hospital, wrote to the Los Angeles School Board on February 8, 2013, discouraging the installation of Wi-Fi, explaining that wireless radiation “from Wi-Fi and cell towers can exert a disorganizing effect on the ability to learn and remember, and can also be destabilizing to immune and metabolic function. This will make it harder for some children to learn, particularly those who are already having problems in the first place.” The American Academy of Pediatrics in August 29, 2013 wrote "Current FCC standards do not account for the unique vulnerability and use patterns specific to pregnant women and children. It is essential that any new standard for ...wireless devices be based on protecting the youngest and most vulnerable populations to ensure they are safeguarded throughout their lifetimes." Moreover, on November 14, 2013, the AAEM wrote “The peer reviewed, scientific literature demonstrates the correlation between RF exposure and neurological, cardiac, and pulmonary disease as well as reproductive and developmental disorders, immune dysfunction, cancer and other health conditions. The evidence is irrefutable. Despite the research, claims have been made that studies correlating emissions from Wi-Fi, phones, smart meters, etc. with adverse health effects do not exist.” While we are putting more and more radiation in our classrooms, countries around the world have opted for protecting their children. The governments of France, Belgium, Israel, Finland, Russia, India and the European Union have all taken steps toward reducing children's exposure to radiation from Wi-Fi and other wireless devices. In Israel, the Ministry of Education has banned the use of wireless networks for preschool through second and has instructed all schools to perform radiation tests. In addition, Israel’s Minister of Health, Rabi Litzman, stated that he supports a ban on Wi-Fi in schools.86 of 100 SignaturesCreated by laura simon

AG Schneiderman tell TMC Owners of your investigation of the TMC SCAMAccording to TMC’s website there are 14,000+ TMC owners. Court records from 2012 show the actual number of TMC owners as 18,480. Of that number 3,826 owners live in New York State. As the New York State “people’s lawyer” please notify all 3,826 TMC owners in New York State of your legal investigation of the Manhattan Club. Manhattan Club owners across the country and around the world will be affected by the legal actions taken by your office vis a vis The Manhattan Club. It is vital that ALL Manhattan Club owners of record are notified of the Attorney General’s investigation of The Manhattan Club. Most TMC owners do not know about the AG’S investigation. New York news reports on this case did not reach around the country and the world. I represent over 1000 Manhattan Club owners who are in contact through an email listserv. We urge the Attorney General’s office to please consider contacting ALL TMC owners of record and make them aware of this investigation as well. Each week the TMC owner’s group receives emails from TMC owners from across the US and internationally. These owners want to get information about the AG’s investigation. These TMC owners have information that can materially help the Attorney General's investigation of The Manhattan Club.421 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Irene Smalls

Walt Disney World: Keep families togetherWhile visiting the Florida theme parks with my family I was appalled to learn that WDW's policy for their attractions is such: If a person does not meet the height requirement for an attraction they are not allowed to stand in the queue for that attraction. This includes any aged child. The problem with this restrictive policy is that parents are now forced to be separated from their children. Example situations: A grandparent takes a 4 year old and a 7 year old to an attraction at the Magic Kingdom. The 4 year old is not tall enough to ride but the 7 year old is. The grandparent now has to stay outside the attraction with the younger child and the older child is forced to wait in the line alone or not ride at all. A mom and dad with a 1 year old would like to use the "Child Swap" option at an attraction. The 1 year old is not allowed to be in the queue. The parents must now wait separately. One in line alone, one out side the attraction with the baby. It is unfair to ask children to be separated from their families. It is unfair to ask families to be separated from one another. Walt Disney World, Please reconsider this restrictive policy that puts families in compromised situations!38 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christina Carter-Halla

Reassign the crossing guard at Renaissance Charter SchoolThe Renaissance Charter School is a PreK-12 public school serving Jackson Heights and surrounding neighborhoods in Western Queens. On September 4th, four days before the start of school, we were informed by the NYPD that they were short staffed and had no crossing guard for our corner. We are on the corner of a busy commercial street, with a public bus stop right in front of our building and many of our students, as well as students attending other local schools, cross this corner on their way to school. Unfortunately, this neighborhood has had many incidents in recent years involving car accidents with children. Our families entrust the care of their children to us and their safety on the streets is a part of that responsibility. Please help us to once again have a crossing guard assigned to our school's street - it is in the best interest of everyone in the neighborhood. Thank you.306 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Peggy Heeney
