• Please stop the deportation of Gerardo Salas!
Gerardo could be deported today after the Immigration Judge denied his asylum claim. Gerardo has no criminal record, poses no threat to national security, and has 4 citizen children (one of whom is epileptic). Being the primary caregiver to his family, I am reaching out to you to petition for his release back to his family. Please sign the petition and tell ICE to stop his deportation!

  • Rep. Hurt: Explain your vote for Paul Ryan's job-killing budget
Rep. Robert Hurt voted for a federal budget that would, according to the Economic Policy Institute, slow the economy and cost 1.1 million jobs next year -- and 3 million jobs in 2016. Paul Ryan's congressional budget would cut $137 billion from SNAP (food stamps), $125 billion from Pell Grants, and $16 billion to block grants for Meals on Wheels, homeless shelters, and child care for working-poor families. It would cut some $300 billion from education funding. We need to send Congressman Hurt a strong message so that he knows we don't support these budget priorities. We have a chance to make an impact over the next few weeks as Rep. Hurt is on recess and making public appearances. We want him to work for a budget that creates jobs and gives everyone a fair shot in life. If enough of us sign, Rep. Hurt will know exactly where his district stands.

  • TAKE BLACK JESUS OFF ADULT SWIM
It doesn't support Jesus, its making fun of our lord and I simply do not like this. Its wrong in so many ways. The cursing, the smoking weed, the drug deals, and so much more. If they wanted a show like that they didn't have to include our Lord in it! I can't believe this is on the air!

  • We Support "Sugar & Spice Cafe"
Harlington is a lovely village, but really lacks a facility like this. It will help isolation issues (particularly for elderly residents), dietary needs not currently catered for, young families on a budget, students seeking an alternative to long-life processed farye, employ locals and will above all offer an unlicensed, non-religious place for the people of the community to meet and mingle.

On July 29, 2014 "Torito" a pug dog was burned alive in the streets of the town of Guadalupe Nuevo León. There is no law to punish this act of cruelty because animals are considered property like a chair. We need to change that. Our animals have names and surnames, are part of our life, our home and are our family. Help them to be heard. We are their voice, no more violence, no more animal abuse

  • Stop Illegal Activities in Harpersfield, NY
Since beginning operations in 2013, the NY 'Safety' Track has conducted illegal racing activities at its road safety training facility in rural/residential Harpersfield, NY, regularly running twenty five 1200cc motorcycles at a time at speeds up to 140 miles an hour. The noise levels are destroying the quality of life for residents up to 5 miles away, denying local residents the right to peaceful enjoyment of their properties. My neighbors and I were forced to go to great expense to file a lawsuit against the town and the track, which we won unequivocally. Supreme Court Justice Brian Burns ruled that the activity at the track was illegal and that the town of Harpersfield was obligated to enforce the law. The town has publicly and unabashedly refused to do so - thus far, with impunity. Please help us pressure Harpersfield Supervisor Jim Eisel and his town officials to abide by the law.
