We are disappointed that ShowNet is not available this 2014 season. The ShowgroundsLive system does not offer the trainers and exhibitors enough up to the minute information to allow us to get through the busy days. We also would like to be able to view our videos at night and at the completion of each show. As exhibitors we need to be able to make our days run as smoothly as possible and ShowNet has proved to be extremely helpful at this. Our congregation will be bankrupted if the Council's insistence on trying to keep the old building is not altered. We will be gone, our various ministries will be gone, our facilities will be gone. There won't simply be no 'old church building', there will be no church at all. 150 years of work and witness will be finished if they do not look forwards. The site will stand derelict for years, and eventually the worst fears of locals will be realised - because eventually the whole site will be given over to housing - not just a part of it. The community will lose out.

Monsanto Corp. is using GMO engineering in foods and other natural life forms that is polluting the planet and poisoning the people and animals, etc. People are getting sick, and dying. Studies have shown it even causes cancer. (even though Monsanto tries to say otherwise). This of itself is reason enough to ban their products. It is also having an adverse effect on the economy, as the more people get sick, the higher medical costs rise, the less people are able to work, making it necessary for more people to be on Government handouts. It has a snowball effect that will continue to get worse. I personally have been effected by GMO foods. When I eat them it causes me to bleed in my small intestine, and makes me anemic, and causes me to have severe bloating and abdominal pain, whereas, when I eat organic, The bleeding stops along with the other symptoms. I can't help but wonder how many other people are suffering from this, and don't even know it. Please think of your children and grandchildren and the American people and BAN Monsanto from using GMO products altogether. Thank you
