Daycare suing a restaurant owner for no reason!

My Name is Emma Moseley, and I am 11-years-old. I attend The waverly School in Pasadena, am an owner of 2 pitbulls, and head up a community service club called Raising Hope. Breed specific legislation is equal to segregation....bigotry. This should be outlawed...not supported.

Horses are not covered by any standards of care for animals considered to be companion animals. They fall under the livestock designation. As such state laws and law makers hesitate to open this discussion on minimum standards of care for horses lest that open the door to all animal related farming practices. This is the opportunity to insure that states have a standard set of care guidelines for horse so abuse and neglect can be easily identified on the state and local level. This expansion has been in the town's plans since 2002. After years of discussion, it is finally moving to a ballot question. Only problem is that the are doing the expansion without the fitness equipment for two years and maintaining the subsidy for the community center. Approximately 88% of the town does not have a membership at a local health club and the full expansion is what the people of Windsor really want. This is a great community builder and the town staff has already proved to the Town Board that other communities have built a center without hurting local health clubs. This expansion will improve quality of life in Windsor, drive more business to this community and create more opportunities for the community to grow.

I am a lifelong Raider fan and I am embarrassed by the product that Dennis Allen has put on the field. I want to feel proud of this great organization once again. However, I will never feel that way with Dennis Allen at Head Coach.

I have animals of my own, the thought of them being abused and killed for lab purposes makes me sick. Imagine if those were humans they were testing on, using them like lab rats, letting them get sick and die off to make people "pretty". What if they were using one of your animals? How would you feel? What if it was a poor defenseless child they were testing on? That would be considered a crime so why isn't this considered one? We are supposed to take care and love one another not kill each other off to make money. There are so many ways to test these things other then animals! It is almost 2014, we have phones that we can talk to, robots to make and produce things so why not create something that can actually save lives, rather the flourish them with non-essential items?

I believe GMOs should flat out be banned or illegal let alone be labeled. They have shown in studies to elevate the chance of getting breast cancer as well as a litany of other problems. The companies that push this technology are putting profit over human safety and that is a fact!
