• Give families the chance to be home for the holidays -- confirm Watt
We came to this country to better our lives, to get a piece of the American Dream and have a good place to raise our kids. Now Freddie Mac wants to kick us out, even though we are offering to buy our foreclosed home back for the current value. They just don't seem to care about families like ours -- it’s time for a new regulator for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- it’s time for the Senate to confirm Rep. Mel Watt as the new Federal Housing Finance Agency Director!

  • Avoid shopping on Thanksgiving Day
The trend of retailers opening earlier and earlier on Thanksgiving Day and cutting into American families spending time together on this traditional holiday is a concern. The force of commerce taking priority and preying on workers affects families across the nation. We would like to reclaim the Thanksgiving holiday as one for families and encourage consumers to resist the merchant's desire to lengthen the retail season traditionally held before Christmas. With extended shopping hours already in place, this exerts increased stress on workers who cannot afford to take time off. We further feel that the shopping is for non-essential goods and can be delayed 24 hours without significant damage to either the economy or individual businesses. Thank you for supporting our petition and rejecting this trend.

  • Label GMOs in Oregon
As an endocrinologist, I am alarmed by widespread obesity, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and gluten intolerance--which cannot be explained by genetics alone. Since the FDA does not test the safety of GMOs, labeling GMOs is essential for your doctor in prescribing food elimination to assess whether GMOs contribute to the disease process.

  • Governor, Oklahoma's State Parks are Not Yours to Sell!
Since entering political office, Republican Governor Mary Fallin has been the leading promoter for privatizing Oklahoma's state park resorts & recreational areas. On January 31, 2014, Aubrey McClendon's Pointe Vista Development plans to complete payments on their 2008 land deal for Lake Texoma State Park, without complying with their contract to build a hotel and convention center. If Fallin and our state land commissioners accept this final payment, we lose our federally-protected park land and have nothing to show for it. Restore Lake Texoma State Park. • The neighbors of Forest Street and nearby residential areas in the west side of Worcester, MA op...
I am a concerned neighbor and a parent, who strongly believes that CHL's purposes will cause harmful effects to our community. This is a volunteer program for addictive juveniles and as addicts they could leave at their leisure and may cause trouble to our community in order to satisfy their addiction. As I imagine, this is not a problem that anyone would like to envision in their own community and that is why I seek your support.

  • Stop Using Neuro-Electromagnetic Weapons on Humans
Neuro-electromagnetic weapons work by blocking and re-wiring the neuro-transmitters in the brains of the victim. Like diversity in our DNA, there are some very common neuro-transmitters in humans and some very individualized neuro-transmitters. Creativity and other individualized properties, usually but not necessarily, depend upon individualized neurotransmitters. When NEM weapons are used against people, they lose coherence in speech, thought process and common motor activities and usually become a target of ridicule. But the neurotransmitters that are individualized to the victim and cannot be blocked give them good realization of their helplessness. This cruelty is hard to be described in words. Many times people around the victim are asked to cooperate either by fear of NEM Weapons or illusions of money while, of course, falsely justifying the morality behind retarding the victim. The victim has enough thought process to know the reality but inability to express himself makes it easy for everyone to ridicule him/her. It is very hard for people to imagine how this cruelty affects the victim. Many times some victims retain more control of their senses since they depend more on individualized neurotransmitters. In such situations extremely inhuman steps are taken to control the victim. Militaries of various countries are asked many times to force beverage companies to drug all bottled water and beverages in the city where victim resides so that chemicals required for success of NEM weapons could go into the body of the victim. When such actions are leaked, they tarnish the image of United States in other nations forever. Here is a very very brief and peripheral discussion of some of my experiences which of course, show different state of mind, as time advanced and I got more freedom. http://wilmott.com/messageview.cfm?catid=15&threadid=94796&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=&STARTPAGE=1

  • Boycott Automatic Finance, Rafael Financial Group, Flora Ceona Nudelman, and Serge Uson!
To: Automatic Finance/ Rafael Financial Group MD Assessment & Taxation Number #W11459013 410-415-0100 300 Red Brook Blvd Suite 104 Owings Mills, MD 21117 Flora Ceona Nudelman 2830 Quarry Heights Way 410-602-8385 Baltimore, Maryland 21209 Rafael Financial Group 10733 Hewitt Road Owning Mills, MD 21117 From: Mr. Jackson & Mr. Williams Any Credit Auto, LLC 5561 Thomaston Road 478-476-0496 Macon, Georgia 31220 I am extremely desolated regarding this unfortunate situation with Automatic Finance, and Mr. Serge Uson. I have travelled against my business associates who had cautioned me concerning Mr. Serge Uson boorish, and ill-mannered methods. My employee, Mrs. L. Williams persuaded me to reach out to this company, and sadly, she is the one he denigrated and lied to concerning this turbulent situation. My company had one single buy back from Automatic Finance since our business relationship begun. We paid the recourse fee and he still requested certified funds for duplicate payments. However, the check we had sent him cleared our bank account, and we became apprehension regarding his selfish tactics. I began to feel like he tried to pilfer money from Automatic Finance because of his erratic conducts. Why would he harass my employees when his company has been reimbursed? Furthermore, he personally upheld funding from my company, and Mr. Uson refused to pay open deals. We had installed three global positioning systems on cars his buyers bought under the guise of Mr. Serge Uson. My company had to pay one hundred and fifty dollars per installation. Really? Those customers are collateral damage from a ticking time bomb named, Mr. Serge Uson! His behavior is very abusive, and also, this is a, 'purely' unsatisfying working relationships between my employees and Mr. Serge Uson. The question is, what is now and what is next. All the while, it has been tempting to go on offense with exploitative sacrilege strategies. Better yet, I have focused my attention on alerting other dealerships in a control way against Automatic Finance. I have prayed to God, and begged Him not to allow His death’s angels to ride, and take me away until I see Mr. Serge Uson terminated from Automatic Finance. I overheard him make a slandered statement to Ms. L. Williams that he would break my company. It would be remiss on my part not to indicate that Any Credit Auto Sales is an African-American dealership in a market that is battering other dealerships in this area from a competitive standpoint. Mr. Serge Uson is very superficial and slick with his choice of words concerning breaking our company. That type of vulgar language is detestable with his vernacular terminologies that slave owners once used. “Breaking” is what the slave owner called Nat Turner's Rebellion in 1831which is the most prominent slave revolts in American history. Sadly, this event happened on the very day we lost one of the world greatest icons, Nelson Mandela. I supposed this type of racist behaviors was far behind us in this great country. The ghost of Jim Crow is alive and well, and now, we have to deal with his great-grandson, James C. Crow Esquire! Please help support this boycott against Automatic Finance, and Serge Uson!

  • Historic Preservation Commission: Bring Educational and Economic Development to Hyattsville
Art Works Studio School and Art Works Now is an art education and social justice nonprofit that recently acquired 4800 Rhode Island Avenue in Hyattsville– with plans for a mixed-use project between Art Works and Pizzeria Paradiso. Recently, however, they found out that the property is eligible for historic site status. There is a hearing on December 17th to decide that status. Our community is asking that this property not be designated historic. Art Works believes they do not have the financial resources to properly steward an historic site; and the nonprofit has shown great respect for the narrative of this property and pledges to do so in the future. This issue came up because Art Works sought to add a small addition to the roof of the existing building to allow for a stairwell to replace the existing staircase that cannot be brought to code in its current location. If the property is designated historic, there will not be room at this site for both partners to occupy the space. Without the partnership, Art Works will not be able to afford to continue with this project and the building will continue to be vacant. Art Works has worked diligently with their architect to create a design that is sensitive to the existing building and its aesthetic.

  • Stop Animal Testing!
100,000,000 animals are abused (mainly by being animal tested), including dogs, monkeys, rodents, cats, and many other animals. They are brutally tortured for products like: soaps, cosmetics, lotions, hair products, and even clothing. There are plenty of other ways to test products, other than animal testing. We have to create laws to stop this now!
