A 16-year-old charter school student says he was roughed up by Philadelphia Police so bad it sent him to the hospital-with possible injuries that could last a lifetime. We want to warn you some of the details of this story are graphic. 16-year-old Darrin Manning is still having trouble walking a week later. He suffered serious injuries to his genitals. He claims came at the hands of a Philadelphia Police officer during a recent arrest. "I think that was wrong. I think that was going overboard," Manning said. Manning, a sophomore at Mathematics, Civics and Charter School had just got off the subway with a dozen team mates in uniform on their way to play a high school basketball game. He says the group was confronted by police at broad and Girard. Exactly why the students were stopped and questioned is still unclear, but manning says he was put in handcuffs. he then says during a pat down a female officer squeezed his genitals so hard-it ruptured his testicle. "She patted me down again and felt her reach as she grabbed my butt and she grabbed and squeezed and pulled down and that's when I heard something pop," Manning said Hospital records show Manning spent night following his arrest at children's hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. His mother Ikea Coney says her son may have permanent injuries preventing him from fathering children. "The doctor told me you have to press charges and that just alarmed me," Coney said. Manning is now facing charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest. "He doesn't deserve no felony he's not a bad child. He's not in the streets," Coney said. "I believe he was sexually assaulted" The founder of his school says she was with manning 10 minutes before the incident. She says this straight-A model student hasn't had a single discipline problem in his 3 year history at the school. "You shouldn't be able to do that to any child. But this is a 16-year-old and that the force that was used in his private area it's sort of concerning to me," Coney said. Police in the 22nd District tell FOX 29 they are looking into this case and perhaps launching an internal investigation in the next couple days.

On his radio show, Rush Limbaugh claimed that liberals had just invented the term “polar vortex”—as a ploy to “help the global warming agenda.” But NBC weatherman Al Roker refused to let that stand. On the Today Show, he definitively proved “polar vortex” has been a well understood term among meteorologists for 50 years. then he added: Then he added: “So for all the doubters out there, STUFF IT.” Roker’s bravery is exceptional. The Koch-funded right-wing echo chamber bullies weather reporters on a regular basis, as they attack the scientific consensus that climate change is a real problem. It’s about time that more weather reporters stand up to this demagoguery. After researching the tragedy of hunting cetacean creatures, it came to my attention that over 20,000 dolphins and porpoises are killed off the coast of Japan every year. Dolphins are a crucial part of the marine ecosystem and deserve the right to life without human cruelty. By contacting the Japanese government and influencing them to stop their slaughter of dolphins, we can save thousands of dolphins' lives while simultaneously preserving the marine ecosystem that provides sustenance for millions of people.

Like before, people actually want this as an option. This is why I'm starting this petition. My goal is to at least get 1000 people.

We live in central Illinois. Every town affected needs these funds to offset the cost of recovery efforts. Everyday it is delayed it puts a greater strain on local and county resources.

Charles R. Snyder is a man of great faith, honor, and dignity. His 21 year leadership of All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir has positively impacted the lives of thousands of singers, including my children. He was removed from his position because he reported the alleged misconduct of a former volunteer accompanist, which led to this man's arrest and indictment. He should be returned to his position immediately.

Florence lauderdale animal shelter is banning Debbie Darby Rappuhn from the shelter she controls the rescues and so they have met and wants Debbie to come back IF she helps with the duties of the workers. She does not want to do their job anymore. She wants to still have access, but wants to spend her time helping the animals get to rescue rather than helping the workers have an easier time of their jobs.

I am a professional who advocates for individual's daily safety including in the home. The content in this video emphasizes putting vacation plans ahead of an elderly person's safety. People's homes are their safe haven and stair lift equipment is an expensive home adaptation to install for personal use and to prevent falls and hospital stays. Please assist me in having this company remove this uncivil commercial from television broadcasting.
