This petition will be the beginning of a movement to stop media moguls from saturating television and movie programming with murder and heinous crime themes. Society is being bombarded with murderous themes and images that have direct negative and desensitizing effects, especially on the young. We must demand more and better choices.

Chi Rho Gamma Sorority Incorporated was founded on April 10th 2008 by six unique young ladies with aspirations of uniting all women into a sisterhood which upholds individuality, scholarship, true friendship, community awareness and service to others. Chi Rho Gamma is the first Greek lettered sorority founded and incorporated at Delaware State University. A plot area on the Greek yard will not only display Greek unity, but allow the organization to socially connect with the student body.

ASL, or American Sign Language, is a great language that is used by people to communicate with the Deaf. This is a form of speech, and with that said is undoubtedly considered a language. Many students are learning ASL in our high school, West Valley at this time. In-fact West Valley is the only school to offer it in our District. However seeing as how the year is wrapping up, the school has been reviewing schedules and what they can cut. Unfortunately they saw American Sign Language as unimportant, and now are not offering it next year. For the students who are taking it (50 and up), they were infuriated. That is why these students are asking you to sign this form, so that ASL isn't taken away from our School.

It's time for all residents of any Camden community to rise and take a stand on the unfair practice of being forced to pay $30 per month for valet trash. On April 10th, the Civil Service Commission held a public hearing on a rule proposal to eliminate civil service as we know it. The rule proposal bypasses the legislature and contract negotiations to "broad band" civil service titles, rewrite promotional rules, and eliminate or limit important protections like veteran preference, testing and ranking on lists, and layoff rights. Take action to ensure this rule isn't rubber-stamped after a single hearing! Make sure thousands of public employees and hundreds of thousands of residents can weigh in to shape or stop this rule. The “broad bands” of job titles would allow management at all levels of government (State, County, and Municipal) in the Civil Service System to group numerous job titles in large “bands.” Employers could hire, demote, or advance employees to jobs within the “band” based solely on management's assessment of your competency - without objective testing or lists. Even worse is the manner in which the Commission is trying to do this. They are only allowing one hearing on these changes—at 3pm on a work day when most workers and residents can not attend the hearing. Despite the fact that thousands of public employees would be harmed by the rule, the hearing room only holds 20 people. The Christie Administration wants to silence public input and push this change through with a rubber stamp after one meeting. We need to mobilize to stop it. We are organizing public comment opposing the rule but the first step is to get the Commission to hold a real public hearing process.

The state of alabama should provide some type of legalized gambling in the state. We as alabamians are forced to take our hard earned money to the neighboring states to gamble, taking multi-millions from the state. This is money we could use in the state, to help lower taxes, provide educational funds, and improve things in the state of alabama.

On April 15, 2013, there were two bombings durring the cities anual Boston Marathon. Three people were killed and over 100 severely injured. It is believed to be an act of terrorism. - We the people of the United States vow to keep Boston in our prayers and to continually show our sympathy and support in the days and months to come.

Rodent poisons cause serious health problems for our children, pets and wildlife causing sickness and death for many.
