Mayor Bob Filner: Make Poverty a PriorityIt's a tragedy that anyone in San Diego should live in poverty, especially those who work hard every day and still struggle to support themselves or a family. Our city government can do much to combat working poverty, with policies that focus on living wages, access to affordable healthcare and creating quality jobs for San Diego residents. When all working people can support themselves and have money in their pockets to spend at local businesses, the entire city will benefit and we’ll finally be on our way to rebuilding our local economy.26 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Clare Crawford

Level the Playing Field for US ManufacturingLeveling the playing field gives multi-national corporations less of a reason to manufacture overseas. 1) They will pay the same minimum wage as they do in the U.S. 2) They will follow the same Fair Labor Standards Act requirements. 3) They will follow the same OSHA regulations. 4) They will have the same environmental requirements2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ken Burton

If a person is under 50 and bedriddenMy son is under 50 and it seems to make a huge difference in whether he will get care in order to walk again; it doesn't make sense when this is the time in his life that he needs to raise his young kids and give them a good life, providing for them and coaching them with basketball, taking them fishing and the like, he needs to stop being ignored by the system.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Yvonne Reyes

Remove Kristine E. Drettwan as Walworth County Family Court CommissionerFamily Court Commissioner Drettwan, is your classic case of wanting to become a Judge to help and bring fairness to the good people of Walworth Col., But the truths of the Job has taken its told on her and she is no longer Fair or impartial. Here in Wisconsin, Separations and family custody is very simple, unless onside can prove the other unfit. It's 50/50 placement and basic child support guild lines are followed when requested. But Kristine E. Drettwan Does care about the law or even being fair. I sat for two day watching Kristine E. Drettwan practice, Time and time again she had decided who she liked a head of time and punished the other person regardless of evidence to the contrary. Most importantly the Marjory of her ruling of "temp" status are over turned by the Judge. This makes the position Family Court Commissioner wasteful and unnecessary. If no matter what her ruling is, you are going to have to go before another judge again to get a fair hearing. It makes the time and money standing in front of her useless and wasteful (and in the meanwhile the child of the Separation and family custody suffer) Long and short because of her inability to be fair .. Makes an already difficult, expensive and complected processes, Even more so and unnecessary!131 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Chaim D sachs

Urge Inclusion in Popular Tween MagazinesMagazines that target tween girls have an obligation to ensure the images they present are positive, balanced and honest. According to the 2010 US Census Bureau, approximately 5.2 million children under the age of 15 have a disability. American Girl and Discovery Girl magazines need to increase representation of girls with disabilties not just as a 'special feature'-but as part of every issue.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maria Chepulis
