To stop the barbaric act of horse slaughtering that for those not aware is done while alive. The torture, beating, and slicing while alive. The horses are gathered, auctioned, sold, sent out to Mexico or Canada and slaughtered. Information of this treatment is provided by sorces such as PETA, Humane Societly, You Tube and more.

Tiger Airways are telling people with certified service dogs (such as medical alert dogs) that their dogs cannot travel in the passenger cabin with them. This is NOT legal and it needs to STOP. We want Tiger Airlines to abide by the LAW and allow service dogs in the passenger cabin.

More than 130,000 horses are transported from the USA to Canada and Mexico for slaughter for human consumption to Asia and Europe. The tranportation of the horses is crowded and unsafe and slaughter process is inhumane. There are healthy, trained horses (sometimes pregant) of all ages that are slaughtered. 80% of Americans do not support horse slaughter. Horse slaughter was recently legislated approval to return to the USA. Please contact your local, state and federal government officials to tell them you support the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act of 2011 and that we do NOT wish to support horses being slaughtered in the USA and don't want them shipped outside of th USA for slaughter.

Wisconsin's recall elections are in the closing days. The Republicans are spending 25 to 1 against the Democrats. This election brings together issues vital to workers, fairness, truth versus lies and Citizen United. President Obama needs to take sides because this election sets the stage for November for all of voters. We are calling on him to step up and make a difference.

Illegal semi-truck traffic on Marietta Road endangers the safety and quality of life in our neighborhood. The excessive truck traffic through our neighborhood creates diesel exhaust pollution, noise issues, potholes and makes it dangerous to walk or drive. We are calling on the City of Atlanta to take action to eliminate this problem and protect our families and community.

horses built this country and won our freedom. they have fed our families, built our cites, carry our children. they are NOT food.

These two creditable progressive organizations which are constantly asking us for funds to support valuable causes, deposit our money in the Bank of America which works as hard as it can to defeat these same causes. When I asked why the response was"we have no control over the money". This makes no sense to me when there are dozens of other banks which are not so reactionary.

Asking state officials to sponsor and pass a bill banning the slaughter of horses for human consumption on the state level, here in Nevada. Eating horse flesh is not condoned in the Bible. Also, it has been an inhumane practice. There is not a humane way to slaughter a horse because of its nature. There are not controls to know if a horse has ingested toxic chemicals. It is not necessary and is greed driven.

Why????? These are amazing creatures. And people forget that way back, they were our only form of transportation. HORSES BOTHER NO ONE, AND ARE JUST PLAIN GORGEOUS.

Arizona can stand up as the great western state that it is and defend a great American icon. We ask Arizona join in the call to stop equine slaughter of horses for human consumption.

We do not raise horses as a food source in this country. They are treated with vaccines, de-wormer's, and pain killers that make their meat toxic to humans. It says it right on the bottle next to the skull and crossbones. Because of the horse's instincts, a humane slaughter is impossible. Many are just stunned only to wake up while they are bleeding to death from having their throat cut. Over breeding, like puppy mills, has to stop. The responsibility of backyard breeders and national organizations like the AQHA is to curb the overpopulation created while they are looking for that one animal that will win them a $1.98 blue ribbon. Those that don't meet the grade are tossed out with the garbage. Please sign the petition to stop the slaughtering of horses here in Florida. There is a law on the books but it is not strong enough language to prevent slaughterhouses from being built and sanctioned by the USDA. We cannot allow this to happen in the Sunshine State. Let our government representatives know that this barbaric activity will not be allowed in our state.
