SAVE 12 KEITH AVE12 Keith Ave is a historic 115 year old home built in 1900 by Allie-Louise Keith (1877-1926) the only child of the well known shoe manufacturer and councilman Preston B. Keith (1847-1928) and her husband Dr.Charles Ernest Perkins(1866-1959) on the avenue named after her father. The home stayed in the hands of the Perkins family until it was sold within the family to Wayne Everts Keith (1901-1984) (Grandson to the famous Capt. Ziba Keith) and his wife Dorthy Perkins Keith (1905-2005) . In the 60's the home became a rooming house and in the early 70's the home was once again sold and was completely restored to its original 1900's state. In 1991 it was sold to a Mark Seigrest who continued to restore the historic structure, but after a mysterious fire in 2008 it has sat in a sad state of disrepair and has fallen victim to theft and vandalism. Some see it as a an eyesore that should be ripped to the ground but many others see it as a beautiful reminder to the community of what our city was like in it's prime and what it has the potential to be again. With its unique architecture, grand staircase and ornate woodwork it is a gem of what this family had to offer the Campello section of Brockton Mass. 08/27/15- proposal for the building to be demolished for a parking lot... A parking lot-really?!? We can't let this happen!!!! Almost all their homes have been lost to a wrecking ball, our city can not afford to lose anymore of its proud history so that a corporate company can come in and destroy what the proud citizens of this city fought to build. So please show your support for this cause and sign up to save a Historic home! You do not need to live in Brockton to sign this petition... It is preferred but absolutely not a requirement, let's show our buildings are worth saving wherever they are!! Golden State Warriors Stadium at Candlestick PointSensible planning for San Francisco and improvement in business opportunities for the City's southeastern neighborhoods and residents. Finally, it makes sense. Plenty of land and room for parking, which an Embarcadero stadium can not offer.16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Diane Smith

Pedestrian access on SW 45th between Multnomah Blvd and SW Vermont StreetSW 45th along both sides bordering Gabriel park has no room for pedestrians. The road is narrow with no parking strip, let alone pedestrian walking. We need a walkway and cross walk for pedestrian access to the park.69 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kathryn E Cole

Give the Homeless HopePeople tend to look down on homeless people and even think of them as less than human. By you helping the homeless person it may encourage others to also help until there are more people helping homeless people then there are dehumanizing them.66 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daychawn Pope

Help veterans be successfulPetition to Start a Non-Profit Business Incubator. To help support Veterans and First Responders and others in need of additional administrative support to be successful in their entrepreneurial endeavors especially socially responsible non-profits that benefit communities. Mission: To assist individuals with ADHD, especially veterans and first responders with ADHD[1], to identify their respective conditions, assist them in obtaining treatment, and empower them to implement personalized plans for success. To help organizations minimize disruption from staff and client ADHD (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) Vision: We will be the most comprehensive program to assist all who suffer from ADHD, especially Veterans and first responders. We will work with them and their families, friends and employers to improve quality of life, productivity, and confidence. We provide individuals with a sense of dignity, restore confidence and help build a strong community as individuals begin and continue treatment to achieve their full potential. Issue: ADHD and undiagnosed ADHD have reached epidemic proportions for families and employers in the US2. The estimated economic impact was a negative $31.6 billion annually3. It is estimated that 62 percent of veterans4 and first responders suffer from ADHD, and according to NIH,5 go undiagnosed6. ADHD is easily treatable, but undiagnosed ADHD often leads to alcoholism, drug abuse, divorce and other destructive behavior7. Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein: Co-sponsor the Strengthening Social Security Act of 2013Millions of Americans depend on Social Security. We need all Democratic Senators co-sponsoring this bill by Senator Tom Harkin because there is no valid reason to cut the meager benefits and this bill provides commonsense ways to expand and strengthen the program ensuring it for future generations.222 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Jim Hard

Mini urban farms in city parksThe food desert in inner cities would be eliminated, recreaction for children and adults in urban areas could much enhanced by exposure to growing of fruits, vegetables and greens that are currently only seen as packaged food in grocery stores. The City Park and Recreation Department needs to change its focus from traditional lawn, play area maintainence, to stimulating the minds of young children, by exposing them to growing the food they eat. This would be a wonderful activity for those who would love to garden but have no access to land.24 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Monali Khandagle

Have a child abuse hotline for each individual county in NM.Hotlines are ineffective and too many of our babies are dying because of this problem. I have found that there are cases where people have called and been placed on hold for hours. Also there are cases where reports are not investigated because not enough reports are made and next thing you know the child is dead. We need to report locally to out counties CYFD office. Every county has one and it would help people who are calling to report abuse to not have to call a total of eight times per case an also not be on hold for hours. Our children are our future, are they not? Let us start acting like they are and that we cherish every little one and their life. Let's put a stop to ALL child abuse not just the one who get x amount of reports or more. We must protect our children, they are defenseless on their own, without us. Let us put a stop to our babies and children dying. If we do not protect them then who will? If we do not protect them; then is our future protected? What is the problem? Is it not the whole purpose to have a hotline to report abuse and save lives? Well, we must step it up a notch and save more lives. Obviously one per state is not working.159 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jessica Arellano

Protect cyclists from threats in eastern San Diego CountyThreats are not protected speech under the First Amendment, and as a bicyclist, it scares me that we let people publicly post such threatening speech. This sign must be investigated properly, and removed if it is not protected free speech. Furthermore, a "Bikes May Use Full Lane" sign should be erected to replace the "Share The Road" sign currently at this intersection. Since "Share The Road" is unclear, and is apparently interpreted to by some to mean that drivers don't have to slow down and wait to safely pass bicyclists, the sign should be replaced by one that more clearly explains the traffic laws as they are currently in effect.57 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Stechschulte

Shelters For The Disabled in NYCAs a homeless disabled victim of abuse, I am living proof that the disabled community's most basic needs such as shelter and safety are being ignored to the point of neglect and abuse. I am heartened by Mayor deBlasio's campaign promises to address income inequality in our city, which is why I felt compelled to start this petition to see a change in how revenue is invested so that the least fortunate are treated with a modicum of dignity.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shannon Nelson
