My Money, MY SOCIAL SECURITYThe United States government making OUR previously paid in social security a ponzi-sceme by CHANGING the Promise / entitlement benefit to fit the politicians. I paid in with a promise from the US gov. to receive living amount. You cannot make a promise to get people to pay for something that they believe in and then after paying for 40yrs, changing the outcome. THIS BECOMES A PONZI-SCEME; just like the Enron scandal.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shanin

Don't Steal From Social SecurityAs a senior I continually see Medicare cuts, cuts to healthcare and increase of healthcare costs. By tapping into Social Security the seniors will be deprived of their entitled benefits. Their are other areas that can be found to utilize than Social Security. These benefits are for seniors and should be for seniors and not for any other purpose. Seniors are living longer lets not punish them for it.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charlotte Lukezich

Don't Touch Our Social SecurityOur Social Security is a savings account that we pay into our whole working life, and it is NOT government money! The government is only supposed to put it away for us, protect it, so that we have it when we retire or become disabled.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tamara Chapman

Do not lower Social Security or Medicare BenefitsEvery senior citizen and retiree will be affected. These are a group of people who have worked hard all of their lives, trusting that the money they paid into social security would be their's when they could no longer work!!2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by nancy Dickerson

Don't reduce Social Security with chained CPIMany older people need or will need every dollar of Social Security they will get under current formula and it is still not enough. It's as important as raising the minimum wage to $10 nationally. We need to do both.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Ohlmann

Cuts to Social Security UnacceptablePresident Obama has proposed cutting Social Security by lowering cost-of-living adjustments for current and future retirees. Some seniors are already forced to turn off their heat in winter (or A/C in summer if they have that luxury), eat canned foods with no meat, or go without necessary medications as they desperately try to make ends meet month to month.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Marsha Somers

Change legal age of adulthood in MS to 18The state of Mississippi says a minor is not an adult until age 21. while 18 is the age of adulthood. They force parents to pay child support until the child becomes 21. This is unfair and congress, and the MS state legislature need to make the legal adult age 18. If you can vote and join the military at 18 then you are an adult and therefore should not be eligible for child support and the entitlement should stop, the same as most other states in the US. Lets make Mississippi change the legal age for adulthood to 18.44 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tim Brown
