• Women Warriors Against government forced pregancies for victoms of Rape and Incest
Victims of rape and incest should not be forced by the government to endure pregnancies and childbirths that have been forced upon them against their will. 32,000 females a year become pregnant from this violence. If a female decides to have the child, that should be her choice alone. Women and men who care about women need to stand up and fight for women, and vote in November!

  • Violence Against Women and Children Registry
I was a victim a a violent assault in 2011 and the court system allowed my attacker to walk free against my wishes. He has a history of assault against women but that information was not readily available to me. Had his complete criminal history been listed when I ran a background check on him, I would have NEVER entertained his acquaintance.

  • Antiabortionists must adopt unwanted children
The cuts in services and the forcing of women to complete their gestation places an added burden on our society. I want the active antiabortionists to adopt these children and provide for a healthy and beneficial future. As a medical provider, I have cared for children that have been born into these circumstances.

  • Bryan Fischer-Rescind Your Comments on Rape
Free speech is one thing, but making ignorant and dangerous comments that could effect the rights and health of the nation's women is absolutely unacceptable. Take a look at this link for a more detailed description of what Fischer stated: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/21/bryan-fischer-todd-akin-legitimate-rape-absolutely-right_n_1818285.html Allowing comments like these to flow about freely will nearly guarantee survivors being shamed, medical access being denied, and further spread misinformation throughout an already uninformed populous. If people were to hear these comments and believe them, what would happen?

  • I Stand with women
With recent comments by Rep. Todd Akin and Rep. Steve King dominating the news, I have felt it necessary to unequivocally state that I Stand with Women. Rep. Tom Price, my opponent and a colleague of Representatives Akin and King, has also made comments that fly in the face of women's reproductive rights.

  • Todd Akin
Todd Akin's stance on rape and the abortion issue is an affront to all women and it is beyond reason that he should serve on a science and technology committee.

  • Paul Ryan is the same as Todd Akin, and must leave the Republican ticket
If Todd Akin is being asked to leave his race, then surely Paul Ryan, his partner in changing rape laws has to go as well.

  • Reunite a mother with her four sons!
My US national husband, Douglas Breckenridge, has battered me after twenty years of marriage and abandoned me in India, taking my four sons, Andrew aged 16, Sean aged 14, Ethan aged 11, and Liam aged 6, to the US while our cases are pending in the Indian courts. I have no support and very little money. I need support, media, financial, legal, etc., to help reunite my children and me, and to get some justice.

  • John Boehner please denounce Rep Akin's "Legitimate Rape" comments
We want Speaker Boehner to take action and denounce Representative Todd Akin's recent comments. In case you missed it, on television 8-19-12, Rep. Akin said that victims of "legitimate rape" hardly ever get pregnant and that "if it's legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down." Rep. Akin has since said he "misspoke," but he continues to believe that women should be forced to carry and give birth to babies that are the result of rape. As speaker of the House, John Boehner should denounce Akin's outrageous "legitimate rape" comments—and he also has the power remove Rep. Akin from the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.

  • Rep. Todd Akin must resign
Victims of "legitimate rape" can't get pregnant because a woman's body will shut down and prevent the pregnancy. Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) actually said that–in other words, he's saying that if a woman does get pregnant, she must not have been raped. Even scarier? He's running, and leading, in the race for Missouri Senate. What he said was bad, but it was hardly a gaffe or poor choice of words. In 2011 he and Rep. Paul Ryan led the push in the House of Representatives to redefine rape as "forcible rape" to further restrict rape survivors' access to abortions. As a state senator, Akin questioned whether anti-marital rape laws would be abused by women in messy divorces Anyone who doesn't understand basic biology and tries to create more hurdles for rape survivors seeking justice doesn't belong in the United States Congress. Sign the petition calling Rep. Akin to resign right away.
