Women are the source of life. We should be respected and treeasured. Rape must stop. It steals the soul and trust of a woman. It must NOT be treated lightly. It is a human rights violation and a hate crime. It is rediculous that in 2012 the world is still using women and children as a tool of war! Raping women to insult the other side. Women are human beings...NOT tools of war.

We women don't want the men left out of the silliness and absurdity and intrusion that the women are being hit with, and dragged kicking and screaming into this mire. The Laws are: all male babies should have prostrate exams as soon as they are born. All males, asked for or not, should have circumcisions as soon as they hit puberty, to make their lives better. And, all males must have colonoscopies, more prostrate exams, and a note from their mothers to get prescriptions for Viagra.

The Equal Pay Act was passed by President Obama in 2009 and yet, data has shown that women only receive 60 to 80 cents compared to every dollar males earn. This issue not only affects gender, but race, color, religion, sex (gender) or national origin.We need to mobilize people - not only women, to step up and start making a difference to stop pay inequality. We are requesting signatures to send to the entire government (U.S House, Senate and President Obama) to mobilize the enforcement of this Act which will affect many Americans in the future.

Last week the Violence Against Women Act was blocked for review in the Senate by Republicans. Planned Parenthood is under attack. It's time women and their families and friends go public in their support of women and the deeper values of the heart of our country.

While traveling in the US, families with children under the age of 12 are now allowed to use metal detectors without additional screening, but pregnant women are still forced to either enter body scanners or endure a pat down. TSA should allow pregnant women to walk through metal detectors without being forced to go through additional, invasive screenings.

Help give women a voice by supporting the International Women’s Freedom Act. This bill will help strengthen United States advocacy on behalf of individuals persecuted and denied their rights in foreign countries on account of gender. The promotion of women’s rights will help provide economic, multilateral, military, and export assistance to those who are targets of severe women’s rights violations.

While class is certainly not something any of us expect from 'Rover's Morning Glory', the local Cleveland radio show on WMMS 100.7, a blatant call to rape a teenage girl is beyond the pale even for them. Dominic Dieter, one of the shows hosts, responded to a letter written from a father who was "concerned" about his daughter's sexual orientation, with a gag inducing statement of rape apology and homophobia: "You should get one of your friends to screw your daughter straight." Considering the very real and very elevated threat of sexual assault that members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community face in the form of "Corrective Rape"(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corrective_rape) it is truly horrific to hear it encouraged on such a widely popular broadcast here in Cleveland. Not to mention the idea of a man (presumably) her father's age trying to "screw" an underage girl - in what world is this ok? Rush Limbaugh has a history of denigrating women. For example, he calls strong, independent women 'feminazis'. Our women in the Armed Forces are strong, independent and smart. They deserve better. At a time when so many of these women are raped by their fellow soldiers, we need to stop vilifying women by the radio entertainers like Rush Limbaugh. Let's get him off Armed Forces Radio and support our female troops.

We can't go back to a time when victims of domestic violence had nowhere to turn. But that could happen if Republicans block re-authorization of the Violence Against Women Act. Tell them you want action now.

We are calling on all people of truth and concern for justice and dignity to support the religious women (sisters/nuns) of the Catholic Church who have worked tirelessly for truth, justice, and helping the poor. Currently the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (roughly the leadership organization for 80% of the 57,000 sisters in the U.S.) have been censured by the Vatican, which means they are losing their appointed leaders, the policies, and framework for organizing their programs.
