I'm ashamed to find out that the radio station where I used to work as a DJ and newscaster has become so right-wing that they would allow the racist/homophobic/misogynist bigot, Rush Limbaugh to spew his hatred over Sikeston and all of Southeast Missouri. Shame on you, KSIM. 'KissEm' radio... you're kissing the wrong kind of people!

Rush Limbaugh has gone too far. His diatribe against Sandra Fluke was totally uncalled for and insulting to all women. We should not have to listen to the kind of comments and suggestions he made.

Tennessee is voting on a bill that would endanger women who seek an abortion and the doctors that would perform them. It discloses the name and addresses of the doctors and provides personal information on the women and their families. Our Constitution guarantees our right to privacy, and this bill underminds that right. Please sign and lend your name to this fight. Thank you for your support.

Rush Limbaugh has been a disgrace to American journalism for far too long. His latest tirade against women is an affront to all women. If one were to define a right-wing fanatic, Rush Limbaugh would be the definition. He has done more to cause serious division in this country by his fanatical right-wing tirades for years. In this state alone, normal discourse between Republicans and Democrats and Independents is not possible because of the hatred Republicans have for anything Democratic or "Obama-ish" including the color of President Obama's skin. A lot of this hatred is a result of Rush Limbaugh's dissembling of truth and outright false statements.

A new bill in Arizona would require women who wish to have their contraception covered by their health insurance plans to prove to their employers that they are taking it to treat medical conditions. It will also make it legal for an employer to fire a woman for using birth control for non medical reasons. This insult to women has already passed in the House. If passed, it is a giant step back. What is this, the Middle Ages? And are men going to have to prove that they have a medical need for Viagra? Why is this the focus of our elected officials? Isn't the unemployment rate still at more than 8 percent?

But this time Limbaugh has gone too far, and it has sparked a nationwide backlash. At least 140 major advertisers have pulled their ads from the Limbaugh show, and some stations have canceled the show altogether. Rush is still on the air in Reading—but if enough local folks speak out together, that could change. We can't let up now. Let's sign the petition calling on WEEU 830 in Reading to take Limbaugh off the air for good.

The Life Defense Act of 2012, or House Bill 3808, flies in the face of every health privacy law that exists. It has no purpose other than to intimidate and threaten. Doctors and patients could be exposed to serious threats or danger. This bill must be stopped. Protecting women's rights and civil liberties is very important at this time in our country. Healthcare is of paramount concern. Across the country states are halting funding to organizations that provide critical services to women. It is very alarming that a women's right to birth control is being threatened. If you are concerned that many government officials want to set women's rights back 30 years, please sign this petition.
