• Do not Repeal and Delay
The Republican Party has promised America a better plan than the Affordable Healthcare Act. They have promised to Repeal and Replace it. To repeal it without a replacement would be a bait-and-switch maneuver that would cause harm to millions of people who have come to rely on the healthcare that they are presently receiving.

  • President Trump: Legitimize Your Presidency
Donald Trump did not receive a majority of the popular vote. Kelly Ann Conway states only the media is concerned about Mr. Trump refusing to release his tax returns. I strongly disagree-President Trump should provide full disclosure otherwise his presidency will be seen as one that invites suspicion of corruption and crony-capitalism

  • Emergency! Don't let Donald Trump cut PBS Kids
As a parent of two young kids, I'm so grateful for PBS Kids, which provides free shows and games my kids love--and helps them learn. But news reports say that for the third year in a row, Donald Trump's team is planning on slashing funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), a primary funder of PBS. In his 2020 budget proposal, the federal government would cut funding to CPB by 90% in the first year alone. PBS Kids includes so many great shows, like Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Thomas and Friends, and Dinosaur Train. PBS Kids and other public media reach 68% of all kids age two to eight. These shows are especially important for low-income and underserved children who do not attend pre-school. PBS funding is a minuscule fraction of the federal budget. **We should be expanding our investments in early childhood education, not cutting proven supports for our littlest learners.** Donald Trump can't make these cuts unless Congress agrees. Let's make sure they hear from millions of parents and others who know the value of PBS and CPB. Please share this and help my organization, ParentsTogether Action, spread the word!!

  • Request for Face to Face Constituent Townhall
In this time of political uncertainty and unease, having open, honest, real live discussions among constituents and our congressman is crucial to building trust and confidence that Rep. Stivers understands our interests and is therefore in the best possible position to put those interests forward.

  • Tell Trump to release his tax returns, because we do care!
For the last four decades, presidential candidates have revealed their tax returns to highlight their generous donations, other income sources, and potential conflicts of interest. If we allow Mr. Trump to set the new expectation of intentional secrecy, we are paving the road for further separation from character traits that we value as American citizens. Kellyanne Conway told "Meet the Press" that the people don't care about seeing Trump's taxes. The opposite is true! Share this far and wide and prove how many people actually do care!

  • Demand Trump Release His Tax Returns
We the People of the United States of America deserve transparency in our government. The highest elected official in the land should not be held to lower standards. Donald Trump, according to his statements, has HUGE business holdings all over the world. He owes it to the American People to release his tax returns so that we may be assured he is acting in our best interest and not his own.

  • Require 5 Years of Tax Returns as a condition of being placed on any ballot as a candidate for Pr...
The 2016 Presidential Election demonstrated a glaring loophole in the information available to voters about one of the presidential aspirants. Candidate Donald Trump did not provide his tax information and, consequently, the voting public did not have any way to know what, if any, conflicts of interest, foreign entanglements and influences might be brought to bear upon him. We still do not have that information. Now that we know and recognize this loophole, we can and should close it by requiring all candidates to allow the public to have the information they need to make intelligent decisions about who will lead the nation.

  • Senator Gardner: Hold open and accessible weekend town halls
Senator Gardner's offices around Colorado and in DC have been sending calls directly to voicemail. He is supposed to work for his constituents, yet we are unable to share our concerns. Senator Gardner should hold multiple open and accessible town halls in the coming weeks and months for all his constituents so that he can hear directly from Coloradans who are personally affected by how he votes in the Senate.

  • Demand the release of President Trump's Tax Returns
I am hoping this petition will act as a vehicle to clearly communicate the wishes of the American People surrounding the release of information from the Presidents we elect. The choice of our current President not to adopt the standard practice of releasing his/her tax returns, sets a precedent that could lead to unintended consequence which could be damaging to our country. I am hoping we can convince the current Administration, that this is a very important issue to the American People and their current inaction needs to be reversed.

  • Tell news outlets: Remove Kellyanne Conway's access
MSNBC recently announced that Kellyanne Conway will not be invited back to one of its most popular programs, "Morning Joe." And, earlier this week, the Office of Government Ethics formally requested an investigation into whether Conway violated standards of conduct by promoting Ivanka Trump's products while being interviewed on Fox News' "Fox & Friends." Falsehoods rebranded as "alternative facts" and unethical product plugs for Trump family's businesses have no place in real news. Kellyanne Conway is not the only problem. But she's often called to clean up for the lies and deceptions of her boss and colleagues—and we have to start somewhere in showing that we won't tolerate lies from the Trump administration. Let's start an online movement imploring the press, including NBC, ABC, and CBS to stop providing a podium to Trump's spokespeople—starting with Kellyanne Conway—from which they can spread falsehoods. Together, we can help keep the vulnerable Fourth Estate strong in the face of an administration that seeks to dismantle it. We can't let Donald Trump destroy factually-correct journalism.
