Americans who oppose lies, bigotry, bullying, misogyny, and wholesaling of ignorance want to put first things first. We want to make clear that, whatever the economic issues, whatever the need for change, we cannot sell out basic moral values for economic and political objectives. Many voters set aside these ethical and moral standards for what they thought would be the economic gain and political change they think we need. We cannot begin there. We cannot build anything positive on such a base. First we need to unequivocally reject these evils. Then we can get our economic and political house in order. Not the other way around. What next? The Electors are the ones who actually choose the President, and in highly unusual circumstances can choose according to their conscience, rather than the popular vote of their state. This election is unusual enough to warrant Electors choosing what is best for the country.

I am EXTREMELY suspicious of the outcome of this election, especially after the candidate who won has been shown to have close ties to a hostile government while also insisting the election would be rigged against him.

When the will of the American majority is forcefully ignored by an antiquated system, it is time to abolish it and adopt a fair voting system where our votes actually do count. If there is more than one candidate running and the top candidate does not receive more than 50% of the vote, there should be a run-off vote between the top two candidates. This is fair. Each candidate who qualifies for a given state's ballot must designate certain individuals who will serve as his or her electors if that candidate wins the popular vote in that state. When each state certifies a winner of its overall popular vote, that winner is entitled to send all his or her electors to that state's Capitol, where they will officially record their votes for their candidate. All the electors in all the states do it on the same day, the first Monday after the second Wednesday of December. This year it is Dec. 19, which is the latest it can be, just as this year's Election Day is the latest it can be. In these proceedings in the states, the winner of the statewide popular vote generally takes all the Electoral College votes, a rule stretching back to 1824.

I care about this country and see the Senate's blocking of Obama's Supreme Court Nominee to be unprecedented and unconstitutional. I think it's imperative that we make our voices on this issue heard, and quickly, while there's still time to take action.

Many citizens want to know why these documents remain hidden. I personally fear that Trump is in conflict with (and will continue to have) domestic and foreign conflicts of interest and which will imperil our nation's fiscal security and physical security.
