With obvious proof of outside tampering in our election, we should not have to settle for the outcome of this tainted election. Period!

In the early months of 2016, three top-performing Macy's employees filed discrimination, harassment, and retaliation charges with the EEOC against the retail giant. While the charges have remained under federal investigation for nearly a year, instead of correcting problems and taking disciplinary action, Macy's corporate leadership responded by escalating their acts of harassment and retaliation while subsequently promoting nearly all the staff members who participated in the illegal and unethical violations to higher ranking positions. Currently, Macy's is amidst its annual "Believe" campaign, which is done in conjunction with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. This means that Macy's has erected letter-writing stations at each of its store locations and online at www. macys.com/believe . Adults and children can write a letter to Santa and for each letter submitted by Dec. 24th, Macy's donates $1.00 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. We have, therefore, incorporated this wonderful feature into our public protest. We are not only asking supporters to sign our MoveOn petition but we are also asking supporters to stop by your local Macy's store or visit them online at www.macy.com/believe and drop a letter not only to Santa but also to CEO's Terry Lundgren and Jeff Gennette, telling them that you "believe" in workplaces that are free from discrimination and that foster a culture of inclusivity; charity begins at home. By utilizing Macy's "Believe" campaign stations in store or online you are not only sending a clear message to Macy's CEO's but for every "Santa Letter" Macy's receives the company donates a dollar to Make-a-Wish Foundation, even if it isn't exactly the message Macy's was expecting to see! This seems most appropriate since parents of Make-a-Wish Foundation recipients would be devastated to face harassment in the workplace because of disabilities and heath crises suffered by loved ones. Also, Make-a-Wish Foundation recipients who are able to eventually join the workforce may also have disabilities that require accommodations just like some of the staff members who filed charges against Macy's! People with disabilities not only deserve an inclusive, supportive workplace to live life to the fullest, but providing appropriate, effective accommodations is the law. For those interested in one example of how Macy's treated one mother (associational discrimination), here is that story: Macy's Manager told an employee with disabled children not to apply for a promotion she was qualified for because of her "family problems." The "family problems" she was referring to were the depression counseling her bi-polar son was receiving and her youngest daughter with Down Syndrome. Despite being one of the most experienced and efficient staff members in the department she was denied the opportunity to apply for the higher paying position because promotions require manager approval. This was the second time in a year she was denied an interview for a promotion. Weeks later her daughter's daycare told her that they were raising her rates by $100 dollars. With little to no pay increases over her three years at Macy's and unable to find an alternative daycare equipped to meet her daughter's needs, she was forced to split her family and send her daughter to live with her father. Depressed and struggling to cope without her daughter, her supervisor cited her for not being "happy enough" at work. When she pointed out that all her customers were happy with her service and that her area was neat and well attended, the manager replied by telling her that she could only assume based on how tidy her area was, by comparison, that she must have neglected to engage with her customers. The good work executed by targeted employees is consistently and systematically turned against them. If she wasn't caught up, she was reprimanded. When she was caught up, she was still reprimanded. We aren't asking for miracles or magic! We are, however, demanding that Macy's uphold the basic provisions set forth by law. I will return all goods purchased from Macy's and boycott the company until corrective actions are taken. Charity begins at home."

Our legislative bodies relentlessly investigated Hillary Clinton's emails, but appear content to ignore a report from their own intelligence agency that foreign influence on our elections is real and based in fact. This dismissal of allegations is simply unconscionable and utterly unpatriotic. It is quite possible that Donald Trump is simply not our legitimately elected President. We must not stand for this apathy from Congress.

Our concern is that the election of November 8th will not be recognized as legitimate by a majority of Americans. We believe there will be grave and permanent damage done to our democracy if the perceived illegitimate results of that election are allowed to stand. We the people love our nation too much for there to be a widespread and growing belief that our elected leaders allowed a miscarriage of justice to the most grievous degree.

Russia interfered in our presidential election to help Donald Trump win. Hostile foreign governments shouldn't be allowed to threaten our democratic process. This affects all American citizens. We deserve to know what happened.

StateImpact PA broke the news that Yesenia Bane, a special assistant to Governor Tom Wolf, is married to an oil and gas industry lobbyist. Her connection to the industry may be news, but we've known since the beginning of Wolf's campaign that he was surrounding himself with advisors and cabinet members with ties to the industry. Several, like Katie McGinty, John Hanger, and even Ed Rendell, his former boss and mentor, are surely dizzy from all the spins they've taken in the revolving door between PA state government and the oil and gas industry. They have made it easy for him to ignore the calls for help from the countless Pennsylvanians who have been profoundly harmed by fracking and related infrastructure, to ignore the scientists who have met with him, to ignore the 900 peer-reviewed studies that collectively make the case for a ban on fracking, and to consistently put the interests of the industry above those of the people he was elected to serve. He must fire Bane, scrub the oil and gas out of his entire administration, and ban fracking.

Many cities across the country and our own state have changed local laws and ordinances to allow for the raising of a small flock of hens. It is time for Kellogg, ID to join this movement. With proper education and a little research it is very easy to raise chickens in an urban setting without fear of noise, smell or disease. At the same time you can provide your family with a very healthy choice in home-grown eggs. Factory farming is failing us in many ways. This will give residents the right to provide a much more humane, and safe environment for backyard chickens. Let's join cities like Mullan, Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Bonners Ferry, Moscow, Sandpoint, Preston, McCall , and many more to put food production into the hands of city residents.

The CIA has "high confidence" the Russian government hacked our 2016 election to help elect Donald Trump. Any knowledge or cooperation from Trump would be an impeachable offense, resulting in a Constitutional crisis. Our Electoral College must not certify him until a full investigation is completed and made public.

I'm sick of being stripped naked in the mental hospital when I am forced to be there. How dare people sexually harass people over drugs and self harm. Its stupid.I'm.total amendment number 2 but really even a kitchen knife will hurt someone on the outside of jail there is no point in coughing and squatting people in prison when it isn't done at the airport. This week, the Ohio state legislature passed multiple bans on abortion including as early as 6 weeks. A 6-week ban would criminalize abortions earlier than most women even know they are pregnant--essentially banning all abortion in the state. Governor John Kasich could sign one of these bans any day now. Here's the good news--this abortion ban is clearly unconstitutional, and too extreme even for many conservatives--so Kasich is already feeling the pressure to veto it. No governor wants to be tied to such a blatantly unconstitutional bill--which means that if we speak out loudly now, we can convince him to veto the ban. We know more attempts to ban abortion are coming, so let's draw a line right now that we won't accept any further restrictions on women's healthcare. Next week, we're going to remind Gov. Kasich of his constitutional obligation by delivering hundreds of constitutions to his office.
