It is evident that several members of Congress have been derelict in their sworn duty to uphold the US Constitution and thus limit the power and balance of the Judicial branch of our Government. That action leaves our nation at risk of the SCOTUS being handicapped in properly keeping a balance of judicial equity. In an emergency situation that requires the SCOTUS make life and death decisions those Congressional members are in fact damaging the constitutional function required for our Democracy to operate in the best interest of the people of the United States of America

I am starting this petition because I want to make our country a better place, and right now people of color, LGBTQ people, women, Muslims, and other marginalized groups are living in fear.

The issue is critical now the new (unified) US government to be sworn in in January intends to proceed with dismantling of Obamacare in first 100 days of the Trump administration. Collection of continuing campaign funding and other resources will be required, and considerable infrastrastructure for campaign needs to be assembled--just when we thought we would be able to relax.

With Islam being the second most populated religion, Muslims still do not get school days off. The Christians, as well as he Jews have been getting days off for their holidays. Being a Muslim, I have had to skip classes in order to celebrate my holiday. I ask on behalf of the 1.6 billion Muslims population on this earth, to give a day off of school for at least one of Islamic holidays.

I am a bisexual white male, who just has good friends of other skin colors that I am tired of seeing completely taken advantage of by the higher class. I'm tired of seeing the higher classes get people who specifically ring true to them on GOP side. I'm tired of the Democratic thinking small moves are the way to go. I'm tired of the gridlock that spanned for most of Obama's presidency. If he had been allowed to push through ACA earlier(GOP shutting down congress) we could have had something that actually worked by the time he left office. Instead the incomplete mess that we have will be scrapped and millions will lose insurance, this is not a better situation the better situation at least would have been to work from what we had.

With Al Gore, and now with Hillary Clinton, it is obvious that the population vote doesn't matter. I want my voice to matter. I want my vote to COUNT.

Americans who oppose lies, bigotry, bullying, misogyny, and wholesaling of ignorance want to put first things first. We want to make clear that, whatever the economic issues, whatever the need for change, we cannot sell out basic moral values for economic and political objectives. Many voters set aside these ethical and moral standards for what they thought would be the economic gain and political change they think we need. We cannot begin there. We cannot build anything positive on such a base. First we need to unequivocally reject these evils. Then we can get our economic and political house in order. Not the other way around. What next? Principled, reasoned, rigorous, non-violent resistance. Please forward and circulate on social media.

The Electors are the ones who actually choose the President, and in highly unusual circumstances can choose according to their conscience, rather than the popular vote of their state. This election is unusual enough to warrant Electors choosing what is best for the country.

If the processes behind Global Warming are not addressed (The Donald promised to shut them down). Billions of people including Americans will perish in the rising seas and storms that will prevail.

I am EXTREMELY suspicious of the outcome of this election, especially after the candidate who won has been shown to have close ties to a hostile government while also insisting the election would be rigged against him.

The last time the Electoral College selected a candidate who did not win votes from the majority of the American people, the nation was plunged into war and economic chaos, leading to the Great Recession, the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression.

Twenty-two million people will be without healthcare if the Republicans have their way. They've all threatened to repeal the law without a viable alternative. Who will stand up to him?
