The Oklahoma state legislature just passed a bill that proposes to charge doctors who perform abortions with felonies which could come with associated prison sentences of up to three years. The bill also also denies any physician who performs abortions from securing or renewing a license to practice medicine in the state. It's on its way to Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin who has a reputation of being an anti-abortion Republican. But the governor has not yet decided if she will sign the bill into law. This is the first such bill in the nation. We can't allow it to pass, which is why we need reach Governor Fallin immediately with a clear call for her to veto this reckless bill, which restricts women's rightful access to necessary health care.

We have been lied to about the causes of all these wars since 2008. Our men and women in arms have been injured and/or died, in great numbers, as a result of this endless warfare. Experts suggest that the U.S. economy loses more than $71 Billion per year due to the tax exempt status of religious organizations leaving everyone else to pick up the tab whether we exercise a religion or not. Churches are the only organizations that receive this automatic exemption without proof of compliance. The major stipulation required of this exemption is to maintain abstinence from political endeavors which is regularly violated in every region of the Nation. Tax exemption is a government subsidy and cash rich churches are influencing legislation. Under this recommendation, churches may still claim tax deductions in the same manner as other charitable organizations while being held liable to the same scrutiny as said organizations in order to curtail corruption. This shift in policy will allow religious organizations to refrain from the forfeiture of their rights to free speech under the first amendment. This influx in revenue should be utilized to lower the average household tax burden and fund other much needed social programs. Tell Harry Reid and and the rest of congress to enforce the U.S. Constitution and keep religion out of social policy by taking away the world's greatest weapon, money.

There can be no excuse for failing to disown behavior such as threatening violence or throwing chairs. In 2008 a supporter of John McCain publicly called on the media to “peel the bark off Barack Hussein Obama.” Within hours, McCain said “A person who was on the program before I spoke made some disparaging remarks. … I absolutely repudiate such comments.” Importantly, McCain called out the offender who, later that day said “Why would John McCain repudiate me? … I've had it with McCain.” And he stopped supporting McCain. That’s exactly what should happen. Disowning the violent fringe will induce them to change or to leave the Democratic Party. Democrats should at least meet McCain’s standards. Accepting less will only weaken us. [It will encourage others, if you can leave even a small comment when signing.]

After seeing voters across the country being deprived of their voting rights, I am proposing a public hearing, investigation and voter testimony. It is unconscionable that President Obama and Congress are silent on this travesty. The people will be heard!

The exit polls which have been conducted thus far in most states have indicated a wide spread pattern of deviations between the raw exit poll numbers and the official vote count - in many cases showing a deviation of ten to fifteen percent or even more - which is a red flag indicating that the vote count has been rigged. Because the scanners used to count paper ballots in the US use a "fractionalized" vote counting program (which counts each vote as 100/100ths rather than simply 1) that serves no conceivable purpose other than rigging the vote count in a way that cannot be detected after the fact (except by exit polls!), we know that the means exist for a single individual to hack the vote count in order to produce any desired outcome with a set number of voters.

This petition is to have her removed from any formal position that would allow her to make any rules or decisions regarding the convention in Philadelphia due to her public comments and incredible bias against the Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders in favor of Hillary Clinton. She is neglecting her duty to the Democrats of this nation by doing things that make it appear she is campaigning for either candidate. And I call for her replacement, with a unbiased, unaligned, responsible alternative that will ensure that the voice of the Democrats of this nation are given a true and rightful voice at the national convention.

HB2 was introduced, passed in the North Carolina Senate and House, and signed into law by Governor McCrory on March 23, 2016. This is not a "bathroom bill": it is a blatant attack on transgender North Carolinians, strips current and future protections for LGBTQ+ citizens, and is a direct attack on workers rights. It is time to repeal this deeply dangerous and detrimental law and replace it with comprehensive legislation that protects LGBTQ+ North Carolinians. The Equality for All Act would not only repeal HB2, but protect all LGBTQ+ citizens of North Carolina in employment, housing, credit, education, and public accommodations.
