My two sons attend Willard Schools and since the adoption of the Mastery Connect report cards, we have had extreme difficulty discerning if our kids are doing well or if they are failing. The report card and the subsequent clarifications offer us no understanding of what has been presented, what the class average is, or what level of success is possible. Our attempts to discuss this with the Assistant Superintendent did not resolve the problem. Through many conversations with fellow parents I have realized I am not alone and hope the School Board will listen to the voices of many concerned and frustrated parents in the great Willard R-2 School District. All of our experiences with teachers and administrators within our district remain extremely positive.

After a tough few years with a Republican controlled Senate, Washington state needs its Democratic Party leaders to stand behind the people. If we are going to motivate enough voters to chose democrats in November, we must embrace the enthusiasm surrounding Bernie Sanders. Every county in the state voted for Bernie Sanders during the March caucus. Stand with your party, stand with your state: declare your support for Bernie Sanders' nomination or risk losing our votes.

Simply put, the superdelegate system is extremely undemocratic. It has never been used this way before. These superdelegates do not vote until July, so showing information as if a vote has taken place is as ridiculous as asking them to commit to someone instead of responding to the electorate at the time of the convention. Giving a group of Democratic party loyalists and politicians a "super vote" gives elites more power than the average voter and is swaying our votes! Feel the Bern and bring some integrity back to the democratic process. Having a fair election is an uphill battle and of utmost importance. As Clinton has continued her agenda to "lock up" superdelegate party insiders, the media has followed suit showing information that has never been shown to viewers to convince the electorate that this neck-a-neck race is already won. We elect the superdelegates and they are supposed to represent us. We need to know their allegiance is with us and that they will not block a popular vote!

I personally have been going through hell while trying to keep my seven year old safe after she was sexually assaulted by a stranger/neighbor on an outside balcony of our apartment complex. The accused man seems to have more rights then my child does. I believe all accused should be placed on an ankle monitor during an investigation, not only for their safety, but for the child's safety. This is beyond disgusting, and buying a gun shouldn't be a parent's only option to feel safe.

I know firsthand that forced guardianship happens to approximately five million seniors a year, whose wealth disappears into the hands of a few professional guardians, attorneys, and court personnel acting in conspiracy to obtain the victim's wealth with little public knowledge. Ostensibly created to prevent financial abuse by caregivers and family members, professional guardianship instead gives the legal system "carte blanche" to destroy lives, as I discovered when my family tried to help a friend suffering under a corrupt guardianship firm. Deemed incapacitated by the courts, elderly citizens are robbed of their decision-making rights and assigned professional guardians whose only interest lies in profiting from their estates. As guardianship firms take everything they can, state attorneys turn a blind eye. The very attorneys hired to help back away out of fear of losing their licenses. After witnessing the grief and rage of family members at the forced isolation and chemical restraints of their loved one, I realized that tens of thousands of other families were experiencing this same heartache worldwide. My hope is that this book will increase public outrage against this common, court-condoned crime.
