We have seen a drop in voter turnout because people feel their voice does not matter. This is not democracy. Return the vote to the people!

As a historian familiar with how money has undermined elections in the state of Montana in the past, I urge all Montanans, including our “Super Delegates,” to stand up for real democracy, and not just for the party elites and moneyed interests.

The voters have access to all the information they need to make an educated decision on who to vote for. Superdelegates should support the voters and wait to pledge support to candidates until the voters have expressed their views!

Hillary Clinton is running for President and claims to represent all of the people. If that is the case she should have no problem sharing her private speeches with us.

I am a Florida voter and a political and social justice activist, and I have spent the last 15 years of my life engaged in the democratic process in the hopes of making America a better place to live. I believe in democracy, and in the concept of one person, one vote. I feel strongly in my heart that a truly free and equal country, with a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, requires a ground-up structure, not a top-down structure. For that reason, it is my belief that superdelegates should not decide for the voter who is the winning candidate; that choice belongs to the voters. Florida's superdelegates should pledge their support to the candidate with the most voter support.

It's undemocratic for superdelegates to vote for a candidate other than the one who is chosen by the voters. Superdelegates should follow the will of the voters.

Our individual votes should count. If the superdelegates don't vote for the candidate that gets the most pledged delegates, more voters will feel that their votes don't count and are more likely to not bother voting in future elections.

Democracy is founded on giving a voice to voters, who choose candidates to represent their interests. I am an active community organizer and do my part as a citizen. Superdelegates, please do yours and uphold the integrity of our democratic process by supporting the candidate as chosen by the voters.

I believe in a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. To maintain this, the voters' will should dictate the votes of the superdelegates.

This petition asks Texas superdelegates to support the candidate with the majority of pledged delegates from votes. I am a college-age Texan and this will be the first time I exercise the right to vote. I will not allow that to be taken from me. Tell Texas superdelegates to honor voters!
