I am tired of being forced to vote for the lesser of 2 evils by the political establishment. I am tired of seeing political parties like the Democrats and Republicans hijack the government for their own purposes, and leaving we, the people, out in the cold. If the Democratic National committee does not stop hijacking the political process to put their preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton, as the democratic nominee, then come the national 2016 election, we will not vote, at all. As a native Ohioan, I am concerned about Ohio women's health. Gov. Kasich should veto this bill so women don't lose vital health care in Ohio.

In a widely publicized investigation in June, CNN revealed that a program at St Mary’s, a Tenet hospital in West Palm Beach, had failed to live up to state quality standards for children's heart surgery. Less than two months later, the state decided to withdraw those standards, over protests from prominent pediatric cardiac surgeons. The decision came after the giant for-profit hospital chain made contributions to Republican Gov. Rick Scott and his party, contributions that dwarfed those the company made to candidates or parties in other states.

The General Assembly is considering multiple dangerous proposals that attack women's health care access, including an extreme abortion ban and defunding Planned Parenthood. These bills aren't about medicine, they're about politics. Since 2010, the General Assembly has considered over 75 proposals restricting women’s access to abortion, including banning insurance coverage, requiring invasive, transvaginal ultrasounds, and outrageous personhood bills that even threaten birth control access. These bills are no different--they are part of a coordinated campaign to chip away at reproductive rights. We can't let them get away with it.

Public Trust Doctrine - Healthy Oceans

When it comes to calling for a Constitutional Convention or otherwise changing the Constitution to "reverse Citizens United", our state officials make up excuses about a convention being too risky, having no control over national politics, or passing a resolution calling for a change in the Constitution doesn't actually do anything unless other states join in (of course, the lawmakers in other states say the same - making it a vicious circle of inaction). This gets around that by instructing them to alter Minnesota's Constitution. Other cities and states have done this, so there's no excuse not to do it unless the politicians want to keep the existing state of fascism via corporate plutocracy and campaign bribery in place. Why sign this? Are we in a democracy if money controls who we vote for and elect? Is the government representing the people if those running it are more concerned about campaign finance than their constituents?

This teacher of the year is currently under the wary eye of many parents and students while having access to students. It is only time until we let our guard down and Knodel commits his proven (as stated in the trial) unethical teacher's behavior with more students. We demand that ND ESPB be accountable to needs of the students and not to a union member. Union Member; how else do you explain the 5 to 3 vote?

We need a real democratic primary between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton for the good of the party and ultimately the country. Way before the first primary, Clinton's campaign maneuvered to take the primary out of the hands of the voters by amassing an early super delegate advantage. For Democrats in any state to have faith in the party going into a competitive general election, prematurely committed superdelegates need to change their votes to reflect the people they represent. Given the massive scale of Sanders's primary victory, New Hampshire's prematurely pledged super delegates (Governor Maggie Hassan, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Rep. Annie Kuster and DNC members Billy Shaheen, Kathy Sullivan, and Joanne Dodwell) need to be first in line to exercise their right to reevaluate their support. Maggie Hassan is in the midst of a competitive race to represent the people of New Hampshire in the senate. Now is the perfect time for a prominent super delegate to demonstrate her right to switch her support to the candidate her constituents voted for. The move will also sure up Hassan's own support as the enthusiasm that propelled Sanders to victory moves behind her senate bid.

We have the technology to switch to wind and solar power, now. Our emissions are up 10% this year and we need to switch from Hydro power that is no longer effective due to the drought.
