• Substandard Living Condition's at Housing And Urban Developement Controlled Properties
I live here in The City of St.Louis Missouri at Council Tower Senor Apartment, at 310 South Grand. We have roaches, mold and bedbugs throughout our building. I was invited on Vickie Darlene Newton's radio program in order to bring attention to the tens of thousand's of senior's who live in these inhumane conditions. We want the ownership to bring a civil action against these contractors in order to get the monies back otherwise, The American Taxpayer will pay! Sad!

  • Save Childen from Internalizing Racism
"Internalized racism kept me sick, living to survive, living a diminishing life and limiting my most personal relationships". President Obama recently shared with the world that the legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, and discrimination is in almost every institution of our lives. He stated that slavery casts a long shadow and is still part of our DNA that's passed on, and we’re not cured of it. Provide Georgia children with the Freedom Remedy; steps to replace deep-seeded beliefs and behaviors with new beliefs and behaviors that demonstrate reverence, respect and value for all human life.

  • Prosecute the man who shipped 1795 horses to slaughter
Tom Davis broke federal laws 1795 times and the following agencies are not prosecuting him: The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, who declined both civil and criminal prosecution. The State of Colorado Conejos County District Attorney’s Office also declined to file charges against Davis. To let Mr. Davis and the BLM employees commit these crimes and not be prosecuted is setting a very dangerous precedent that exterminating federally protected animals has no repercussions.

  • Disinvite Netanyahu from Center for American Progress
Netanyahu's anti-peace rhetoric and actions going all the way back to the early 1990, his pro-settlement policies, on-going siege on Gaza and two assaults on the Strip causing the deaths of thousands and destruction of 90,000 homes, racist campaigning and targeting black African immigrants if taken all together makes the invite to address CAP the most egregious step to be undertaken by a "progressive" institution.

  • Senator Donnelly: Support the Clean Power Plan
Under the Clean Power Plan, States will reduce CO2 emissions from power plants by 32% by 2030 (relative to 2005). Unfortunately, Senator Donnelly is opposed to the Clean Power Plan. Timing is everything, and as the world community is about to meet in Paris for the Climate Summit in December, we need our Members of Congress to support the CPP or we could miss the opportunity to reach an international agreement. The United States is leading global efforts to address the threat of Climate Change, but success in Paris will depend on the successful implementation of the Clean Power Plan at home. The time to act is now! Don't let Senator Donnelly and other Members of Congress hold back progress for Indiana, the US and the world!

  • Petition for a Later School Start at Boston Latin Academy
Research confirms the relationship between school start times, sleep deprivation and student performance, as well as depression and mod swings. Mounting evidence about the biology of Adolescent Sleep, and the impact of later start times has shown that starting early not only undermines students' academic achievements but risks their health and safety. Data from later starting schools demonstrates improvements in tardiness, absenteeism and performance.

  • FREE OKC TATTOO ARTIST JESSE TIGER *SERVING A 3YR PRISON SENTENCE*PROBATION VIOLATED OVER MISDEME...
My husband Jesse Tiger is currently serving a 3 year prison sentence for violation of probation for a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse 31 days before being released off his 8 year probation sentence. Jesse was addicted to k2 (synthetic marijuana which is more like heroin or pcp) for 3 years. I slowly watched as my husband destroyed his health, not to mention became a monster when he wasn't high. I knew this wasn't the man I married. I felt like I was screaming out for help but no one was listening because no one really knew about k2, so no one took it serious. Instead of sending my husband to rehab to help him with his addiction they sent him to prison. I begged the district attorney to send him somewhere he could get help but they wouldn't even consider it. Jesse was taken into custody on my birthday June 3, 2015 & Jesse is the sole provider in our family so when he was incarcerated within a couple weeks my electricity was cut off, I was legally evicted, & was homeless for 3 months. Jesse is a well known tattoo artist on the south side of Oklahoma City. He is currently first runner up in the top four finalist for OkC's Top Tattoo Artist of the year award that will be held November 6, 2015 at the Oklahoma Ice Event Center. My husband does not deserve the punishment he received & now they won't even let him transfer to a half way house in Oklahoma County because of the domestic charge. Shame on you Oklahoma for sending my husband to prison when all he needed was help!!!!! HELP ME GET MY HUSBAND HOMEBY SIGNING THIS PETITION SO WE CAN HAVE OUR LIVES BACK TO NORMAL & WE CAN GET BACK TO WORK.

  • Fire and Charge Officer Ben Fields
On Monday, October 26, 2015, a Spring Valley High School student was body slammed and dragged approximately 4 or 5 feet by Officer Ben Fields, Spring Valley High School resource Officer. Sheriff Leon Scott who employed Officer Ben Fields upheld Fields behavior and said he "was acting in response to the student, who was refusing to leave class." Leon also said "The student was told she was under arrest for disturbing school and given instructions which she again refused. "The video then shows the student resisting and being arrested by the SRO." If you notice at the start of the video, Officer Ben Fields said, "Either you come with me or I will make you." he never told the student that she was under arrest so how do you physically make someone be placed in handcuffs or say that they are resisting arrest when they was not initially told they were being placed under arrest? and if she was placed under arrest her Miranda rights were not read to her. The first two videos show Fields approaching the girl who was sitting at a desk in a classroom. Fields grabs the girl's arm while putting his own arm around the student's neck. However, a third video from Instagram shows Fields body slamming the student while in her desk, but the student then hits the officer while he brings the desk to the ground. Then Fields began to drag the student to the front of the classroom where we then could hear him say, "You are under arrest". The person who posted the Instagram video says the student was initially asked to leave the class for telling the teacher that she would not put away her phone. The poster says the teacher disciplined the student with a write-up for being disrespectful and disobedient. After being asked to leave again, and refusing, an administrator came to remove her, and she refused. That is when the SRO was called in. The poster of this video claims when Fields got to the classroom, he asked her to get up from her desk 4 or 5 times and again, she told him no. After moving objects from around the student, and asking again to leave the classroom, and her refusing, that is where you see the officer getting physical. As you read, Mayor Steve Benjamin said no student in the class stated that Officer, Ben Fields told her she was 'under arrest' before he began to physically assault her as if he was a female fighting another female on the streets. We demand that you FIRE Officer Ben Fields, and that criminal charges are brought against him immediately.

  • NYU - Bargain with your Employees, Restore Library Staffing Levels
New York University’s Bobst Library’s Access, Delivery & Resource Sharing Services Department (ADRSS) comprises six separate units and provides a wide variety of services to library patrons, which requires an equal diversity of skills from library staff. In November 2013, NYU unilaterally changed the titles and job descriptions of the ADRSS staff members, effectively merging the six units into one, and thereby changed the terms and conditions of their employment, without regard to the work they were originally hired to perform or their ability to perform the additional duties. The Union of Clerical, Administrative & Technical Staff at NYU (UCATS), which represents these workers, as well as 1400 workers across NYU, immediately demanded bargaining over the effects of these changes. The staff members themselves have twice petitioned library management directly to bargain with UCATS. NYU has consistently and repeatedly refused to enter into good faith bargaining, even after it was ordered to do so by an administrative judge, following a trial before the National Labor Relations Board, which was adjudicated in April 2015. This case is vitally important not just to the thirty members of the Bobst ADRSS Department but to workers throughout the University who could see their jobs unilaterally transformed without an opportunity to bargain the effects of changes to their conditions of employment.
