President Obama has announced that the U.S., Iran, and the international community have reached a historic agreement to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, hopefully putting us on a path to ending decades of hostility. Unfortunately, war hawks in Congress are committed to undermining diplomacy. Over the next 60 days, we're going to have to campaign hard to make sure Congress doesn't squander this opportunity. The president promised "aggressive, principled diplomacy," with Iran when he campaigned for president in the 2008 primary and general election. Now that he's shown that diplomacy can work, we need to show that the American people stand with him and will do everything in their power to give this agreement a chance to succeed and become a model for resolving other conflicts. But with opponents of diplomacy about to go all out to stop this, we have to be out there right away, visibly and loudly.

The whole country had been thrown into a silly Iraq war based on lies, which Fox was a big part of. Racism and other hot topics are used by Fox to instigate violence and create more controversy, and they lie to get their base riled up. They are spreading propaganda and misinformed opinion, not news. It's literally a public hazard to have it called as such.

We've seen what "diplomacy by force" can do to the security of our nation. This agreement does not say that we can never use force to prevent Iran from getting "the Bomb," but it does give peace a chance. Let us not forget that nothing builds up national debt like war does.

We are all safer in a world where Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons. This is a step towards greater stability in the Middle East, and away from further costly American military engagement in the region.

Dear Congressman Mark Meadows. It is time. It is past time. We have known about Dr. William Thompson for a year now and it is time he has been given the chance, in a public forum, to testify to his experiences within the CDC, as a key scientist. Furthermore, to also expound on his statement regarding a particular study to which he co-authored: "My concern has been the decision to omit relevant findings in a particular study for a particular sub­ group for a particular vaccine. There have always been recognized risks for vaccination and I believe it is the responsibility of the CDC to properly convey the risks associated with receipt of those vaccines." The CDC needs to be transparent and all whistleblowers need to be heard so that we continue to have the best possible information to make decisions on public health issues. Confidence in you, our representative in Washington D.C., to address such an issue in the position that has been given to you is paramount and at the very foundation of why you were elected.
