Order a Stop to the Cutting and Road Building in Tongass National ForestForested lands are the lungs of the Earth! They also act as carbon sinks, valuable not only to biodiversity, but to help combat global warming. According to Wikkipedia, the Tongass National Forest in Southeast Alaska is the largest national forest in the United States at 16.7 million acres. Most of its area is temperate rain forest, and is remote enough to be home to many species of endangered and rare flora and fauna. Save it, Joe!118 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Joey Racano

First Ladies to rebuild the Flower gardenIt is part of the White House's history since 1800s. Former first ladies had added to the beauty of the garden by planting flowers. Unfortunately Melania Trump ripped out this garden when her husband was in office instead of adding to it. I think it's something that should be restored in honor of all the first ladies that have once lived there.55 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jennifer Wissian

Stop Leopard Trophy Imports!Shooting threatened wild animals like leopards, elephants and lions for sport is barbaric, jeopardizes their existence and threatens biodiversity worldwide. We’re in the midst of a heartbreaking mass extinction, with 1 million species at risk. If we don’t act now, Africa’s leopards could be gone from the wild in our lifetimes. That’s why the Center for Biological Diversity is fighting in the courts and the halls of Congress to shut down the sick wildlife trade that’s a major driver of the extinction crisis. We need you with us to win. Join the fight: Sign our emergency petition and share it to stop the United States from driving Africa’s leopards and other rare species extinct.174 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Center for Biological Diversity

Save the Chesterfield Gorge! The land around the Westfield River provides the town of Chesterfield with scenic beauty, hiking trails for health and wellness, and irreplaceable contiguous habitat for precious wildlife. Protecting these lands, in perpetuity, is vitally important in our efforts to bolster biodiversity and safeguard ecosystems. The character of the town of Chesterfield and wellbeing of its residents is dependent upon contiguous, wild spaces, as large tracts of wilderness free from human development serve to protect us against, and maintaining our resiliency in the wake of climate change. It is the Select Board’s own goal is to garner more revenue for the town, and the undeveloped land along the Westfield River is the town's key attribute attracting locals and tourists to Chesterfield in the thousands. We believe it would be in the Select Board’s own best interest to place this land under conservation.2,134 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Cesi Marseglia

“Will(Power) On Wheelz”This company is important because it fights for the basic human rights of Quadriplegic’s. Quadriplegic’s were locked out of main stream society when the ADA (Americans with disabilities Act), was first written by President George H W Bush, 30 years ago. We feel that because of the error of technology, the ADA should be revised to include Quadriplegic, our bodies make be broken, but our minds are machines.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Larry Barnett Jr.

We Need Nationwide Count Every Vote LegislationIn the midst of a global pandemic that dramatically increased the safety risks of physically going to the polls to vote, several states decided to suppress voter turnout by creating rules that effectively invalidate mail in ballots that arrive after Election Day even if they are postmarked by Election Day. To be precise, there are 28 states that do not allow postmarked ballots to arrive after Election Day. Simultaneously, the President of the United States has deliberately undermined the operations and sustainability of the United States Postal Service and impeded its capacity to process mail, including ballots, in a timely manner. Thus, regardless of the outcome of the 2020 general election, it is clear that we need stronger federal protections for American voters so that every vote counts and so that states cannot suppress votes in the aforementioned manner. In America, our hope is that we are better than this. Not counting votes is unacceptable. Ignoring votes is unacceptable. And voter disenfranchisement is unacceptable.143 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Colin Byrd
