Tell the Indiana state legislature to raise the minimum wage! The current minimum wage in Indiana is $7.25, which is not enough for anyone to live on. We need and deserve an economy that works for every single person, not just those who are well connected and/or wealthy.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kenton Owen III

Tell The Florida state legislature to raise the minimum wageI have lived in Florida my entire life. When I was making $11.11 an hour in 1973, it was hard. I had two children to support, their father walked out on me for another woman, he NEVER paid child support and in fact never laid eyes on his son. I was left to figure out a way to support them, give them the best I could and help them grow into fine young men. It was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. I took in children to watch during the weekends, brought home work so I would never be behind. The judge once told me "you had them. it is your responsibility. I thought I would puke (4 1/2 months pregnant with my soon to be ex there with his fiance and that is what the judge SAID TO ME! I know as many many women who have been left to fend not only for themselves but their children how devastating this is.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Angela Heller
