END THE ENSLAVEMENT OF MILLIONS OF INDIAN CHILDRENEvery day, millions of children in India wake up with nothing to look forward to except hours of back-breaking labour working everywhere from stone quarries to carpet factories to rice mills. Children as young as 5 years-old are kept from school, forced to work 7 days a week for up to 18 hours a day and end up with crippling injuries, respiratory disorders and chronic pain. Thankfully, the Indian Parliament is considering legislation called the “Child and Adolescent Labour Abolition Bill ”. This legislation would put an end to the enslavement of children in India but it risks not passing without a demonstration of mass public support. For every day the bill is delayed, several children remain at risk of being bought and sold to work in unimaginable conditions of sex slavery, bonded labour and domestic servitude. Call on the Indian Parliament to immediately pass the “Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Bill” and end child slavery in India.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jessica

Publix: Join the Fair Food ProgramFlorida’s tomato farms supply 50% of all U.S. fresh tomatoes but have also been called America’s ‘ground zero for slavery.’ Countless workers held against their will, threatened with violence and forced to haul hundreds of heavy tomato buckets a day for little to no pay. Thankfully, a new solution called the Fair Food Program has been proven successful. The Fair Food Program is working to enforce a policy of zero tolerance for slavery on tomato farms. But a major U.S. supermarket chain, Publix Super Markets, is refusing to support the Fair Food Program. Publix continues to buy tomatoes from growers that are not partners of the Fair Food Program and where workers still toil beyond the reach of its proven protection from modern slavery. Will Publix Super Markets, which prides itself on making Fortune’s ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list, continue to turn a blind eye and give excuses, or will it leverage its vast market influence and lead the way in cleaning up slavery in the tomato supply chain once and for all?10,934 of 15,000 SignaturesCreated by Jessica Hollinshead

Let us be who we want to be!(Facial hair, piercings, and brand types on clothing) Facial hair: I think that one, facial hair is not an issue due to the fact that its human nature. Plus, if my mom, dad or guardian says that i can walk out of the house, and go to school with said facial hair, than it should not be an issue. Piercings: I say that once again, if my mom, dad or guardian says that i am aloud to have and wear said piercing (being facial or not) than it shouldn't be a problem. Iv had more attention drawn to me when i don't have my piercings (gauges) in than when they are, simply because it looks gross. Brand type on clothing: I don't understand how we can go to a school where i can walk around with a cross on my shirt or other said clothing, but if the cross is flipped upside down it is not aloud and will result in a write up. Its not just that though, i think that any religious view should be aloud to be expressed while on school, and once again if my mom, dad or guardian is alright with it, than it should not be an issue. I also want to point out that if i am not correct, colleges will look back on your grades, test scores, attendance, and any record of disciplinary actions that had to of been taken place (write ups, pink slips, conduct marks, ect) i don't think getting in trouble and having marks on your record for colleges to see, when i couldn't wear a type of shirt, or because i had some hair growing on myself, which comes natural.114 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Zachary John Dempsey

Let My People GoThere are too many of us dying and in jail. Murder and slavery should not be an option to population control. They don't need us anymore they have so many new people to control. We can't hurt them more than they have already hurt themselves. So why fear us? Actually we need $8,000,000,000 to complete the move.61 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Audrey Ophelia Boyd

Justice for MajorOn September 12, 2013 my family dog, Major, was removed from his home by the animal control officer for biting an individual. The individual was a contract worker that was working on cutting down a neighbors tree. The individual was advised by my father, the neighbor and his supervisor not to reach over the 5 foot chain link fence to pet Major. The current dog ordinance states that upon release from quarantine by appropriate authorities, should the owner desire to retain the dog the owner shall pay all quarantine costs. The dog shall not return to the city limits of Flatwoods, KY. This ordinance is unjust in that it punishes dogs that are protecting their owners. The way that section 11 of the dog ordinance is worded would allow for a dog to be removed from the home if the dog was protecting the home owner from an unwanted assault by biting the assaulter. This is simply wrong. Major did not have any complaints against him for running loose, biting or being a nuisance. The dog was simply protecting his property and his owners.295 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Angela Mullannix

BAN GMO Monsanto CorpMonsanto Corp. is using GMO engineering in foods and other natural life forms that is polluting the planet and poisoning the people and animals, etc. People are getting sick, and dying. Studies have shown it even causes cancer. (even though Monsanto tries to say otherwise). This of itself is reason enough to ban their products. It is also having an adverse effect on the economy, as the more people get sick, the higher medical costs rise, the less people are able to work, making it necessary for more people to be on Government handouts. It has a snowball effect that will continue to get worse. I personally have been effected by GMO foods. When I eat them it causes me to bleed in my small intestine, and makes me anemic, and causes me to have severe bloating and abdominal pain, whereas, when I eat organic, The bleeding stops along with the other symptoms. I can't help but wonder how many other people are suffering from this, and don't even know it. Please think of your children and grandchildren and the American people and BAN Monsanto from using GMO products altogether. Thank you1,335 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Valerie

Justice for Boujemaa RazguiceInstead of apologizing and rectifying the situation, the Government is circling the wagons and stonewalling. This man needs to be compensated for the economic repercussions of this disasterous and ridiculous decision immediately. The Government has deprived him of his livelihood. We cannot allow such injustice to thrive.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Justice for Boujemaa Razguice

Mike Lee: Don't Blow Up U.S. Diplomacy with IranThe American Israel Public Affairs Committee says on its web site that Utah Senator Mike Lee has pledged to support the Iran sanctions bill introduced by Robert Menendez. But Senator Lee has not co-sponsored the bill yet. U.S. intelligence agencies say that new sanctions now will blow up U.S. diplomacy with Iran, putting us on a path to war. Urge Senator Lee to oppose the Menendez bill and to oppose efforts to blow up U.S. diplomacy with Iran.3,864 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Robert Naiman

Legalize Marijuana in the state of KyI believe Legalizing marijuana in Ky will minimize alot of the issue that the state of Ky is facing. Lower Ky jail and prison population. The are alot of inmates incarcerated on the account of marijuana, if marijuana was legalized i believe it would decrease a lot of the violence that accures in the state of Ky and Ky would actually benefit off the profit of marijuana being legal.213 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Jasmine Willis
