In the fight for a commonsense immigration process, we’re up against a patchwork of broken policies and Congress that’s stalling. In the meantime, this holiday season and every day, families need relief. No matter their status, families should be together during the holidays. Every day, about 1,000 families are separated by deportations, often under questionable law enforcement practices. Dads who have a broken taillight are getting pulled over and deported, forced to abandon their children. Mothers walking on the streets in their states are racially profiled and sent to countries they haven’t lived in for decades, worried they may never see their children again. And even U.S. citizens are being deported. This week, the Department of Homeland Security welcomed Jeh Johnson as its new secretary. Secretary Johnson could stop the deportation policy the Obama administration has been practicing, giving real hope to new American families. DHS is tearing families apart because it’s following the Obama administration's self-imposed and arbitrary deportation quotas. Those quotas are keeping families apart for the holidays and turning DHS’s attention away from keeping us safe from real threats.

The Citizen's Coalition for Equal Access (CC=A) has pushed to get power doors installed locally in Farmington and West Hartford, Conn. People are very moved and grateful for these efforts. We want the same for the whole country.

Food should never be a taxable item. Families barely survive with the expenses of rent, water, gas, electricity, and mortgages. Everyone needs to have the opportunity to afford "healthy foods," and healthy foods cost money. This tax will hurt everyone in New Mexico, especially at the middle-class level, in time; especially single parents. This tax will force people to buy "cheap" foods and cheap foods cause obesity and other health issues. Taxing food is WRONG and UNHEALTHY. Encourage the Government to find a better choice to fulfill the needs of the State when it comes to money. Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting.

The issue of replacement power for the San Juan coal plant is perhaps the most important energy decision that is looming and will have enormous consequences for at least the next 20 years. PNM’s abandonment and replacement power filing - Is not the lowest cost solution; Is not the best environmental outcome; Is not the best jobs outcome; Locks in fossil fuel energy when an avalanche of scientific data demonstrates that we must transition from the burning of fossil fuels to renewables.

After the economy fall that started in 2009 when people lost there jobs, houses, car, and other things. People couldn't pay there house notes, or car notes and other creditors. Now people are trying to get back on track now there face with this credit score trap, Now you can't rent any homes or apartment because of a credit score not a background check, you credit score now define who you are and it's not fair to the people that fell on hard times. This matter really need to be investigated because good people are being left out in the due to the economy drop and now it's harder than before. people asking for a certain credit score But I look at it like this United states is in Debt who look at there credit score, just think if someone did United stated wouldn't be able to buy anything, because of there unpaid debt.

Focus on the Family has hurt the LGBT community and their families for Decades now they are using a one night show of a film that is propaganda against same-sex marriage and families and using theaters like Cinemark/Century knowing that they will make money to spread hatred and fear.

Kahuku has long been at the forefront of developing wind energy. We are proud of that. However, we absolutely reject this proposal that will effectively surround our small rural community with multiple 500' tall wind turbines that will alter our landscape and have negative impacts on our schools and close knit community. For our personal well being, this project must be stopped.
