• 3 Credit Bureaus in India?
The 3 major credit bureaus have a large say in what services we may procure what kinds of credit we can get and homes we can buy. In addition the credit bureau stores and banks store all of our personal information our financial identity. When we contact banks or the credit bureaus for services or disputes we are most likely calling people outside of the country. Those individuals are not citizens of the United States that can be held accountable for their actions regarding an American's financial identity. The sensitive nature of this information should be protected better. We would like laws which prevent the three major credit bureaus Experian, Transunion, and Equifax from outsourcing their customer services outside of the United States of America.

  • HEB World Food Day Challenge
We feel everyone has a right to know what they're eating. Given that polls show as many as 95% of the public favor this labeling, we believe that a decision by HEB to take the historic step to join this movement will benefit consumers and HEB alike, making HEB the leader among major food stores in responding to the growing demand for truth in labeling. JUST LABEL IT!

  • Tie 1/2 of Congressional Compensation to National Satisfaction
As we have seen only too dramatically over the past several weeks, the actions of members of Congress have an impact not only on the people in the districts and states they represent but on hard-working people throughout the United States. It seems only fair that their compensation should reflect their responsibilities to both groups.

  • Albuquerque Students Deserve a Place to Vote
In 2012, County Clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver established a voting convenience center at UNM and it was one of the busiest of the entire election. But in the recent city elections, UNM students wanting to vote found their regular polling place in the Student Union Building empty. City Councilor Rey Garduno will introduce a measure to add a polling place on campus, just in time for the November 19th runoff election and vote on the controversial abortion ban ordinance.

  • Remove Requirement to Increase the Debt Ceiling
The appropriate time to discuss the level of government spending is at the time of budget negotiations. The need to increase the debt ceiling has become a dangerous tool in the hands of a small minority who have shown themselves capable of harming not only our economy but also the world economy in order to achieve their goal of small government.

  • Knowledge as to Which Biological Organism(s) &/or Inorganic Matter Each (Chemical) Constituent Wa...
The first amendment in the Bill of Rights reads "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." A definition of assemble includes "fit together the separate component parts of (a machine or other object)." This petition is a directive forged by We the People to peaceably assemble information. Pharmacognosy is defined as "the study of the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of drugs, drug substances or potential drugs or drug substances of natural origin as well as the search for new drugs from natural sources." It is also defined as the study of crude drugs. A crude drug is any naturally occurring, unrefined substance derived from organic or inorganic sources such as plant, animal, bacteria, organs or whole organisms intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man or other animals. We would like to assemble the knowledge of chemicals alongside the biological organisms or inorganic matter those chemicals were derived from.

  • Sons of Scotland
Sons of Scotland, I am William Wallace... Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds, and if he were here, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse? I AM William Wallace, and I see a whole army of my countrymen here in defiance of tyranny. You've come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight? Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!!!

  • Protect NC Black Bears and Private Property Owners
The North Carolina Wildlife Resorces Commission (NCWRC) has ignored petitions from non-hunters to protect black bears and the public from the unchecked pattern of terrorism and abuse by bear hunters. Inadequate public notice, failure to provide dedicated email addresses for public comments, and the refusal to grant disability access to meetings clearly show NCWRC bias towards bear hunters.
