• Air the documentary "Citizen Koch"
As a supporter of Public Broadcasting and KIXE, I believe we need to show the Independent Lens episode "Citizen Koch" to tell the truth about the Koch brothers, even though David Koch is a major donor to public television.

Pulling the plug on "Citizen Koch" sets a bad precedent for *public* television, an important place for citizen engagement and discourse, and sets a bad precedent for our already fragile and beleaguered American democracy. It is incumbent upon WGBH to stand up to the Koch brothers, while standing up for the citizens who deserve, and have paid for, all aspects of a given story, and as this story has particular import, WGBH can have little to fear in doing the right thing by its public and citizen sponsorship, while enabling for the larger conversation and engagement that must be had surrounding this important documentary.

  • The documentary "Citizen Koch" should be aired on PBS
I want to be able to see the documentary "Citizen Koch" because as a democracy we are supposed to be informed about political issues that are shaping our lives.

  • UNC-TV air the documentary, "Citizen Koch".
Corporations have great power through their freedom to spend unlimited funds to political advantage to gain even greater wealth and power. Many people are unaware of this danger to our democracy. I want this documentary to be shown to add transparency to "we the people" having lost control of our nation. I look to public media's help shedding light on this unfolding disaster to our nation.

  • Koch Addictions
I always notice that Kochs make a point of sponsoring some of the PBS shows here in Maine. Is that supposed to bestow humanist credibility upon them? They should have absolutely no influence on the content we can see. They don't sponsor "Citizen Koch." Fine. That should be all.

  • Wisconsin Public Television: Air the documentary Citizen Koch!
"Citizen Koch" was pulled from national public television broadcast due to fear of upsetting David Koch, who has been a major donor to public television. Public television is supposed to provide unbiased information to the public--without billionaires like the Koch brothers controlling what can or cannot be broadcast--and I would like to be able to see "Citizen Koch" uncensored on public broadcasting in my area.

  • WEDH, WEDW, WEDY, WEDN: Air Citizen Koch
PBS stations have decided to not air the documentary "Citizen Koch," about billionaire libertarians Charles and David Koch and their corrosive influence on American democracy after the Citizens United ruling. This documentary sheds light on the Koch brothers' shadowy contributions to political campaigns and the larger issue of campaign finance. Public broadcasting was established to inform us, American citizens, not to allow America's plutocrats to hide behind their billions in campaign contributions. Demand that PBS air "Citizen Koch" immediately, and support public education and the freedom of public broadcasting.
