    We really want to see "Citizen Koch." It should not have been pulled off the air. The public has a right to see the documentary and the station should not be fearful of upsetting the Koch brothers. Public television should be used to inform us; that was the purpose of Independent Lens, was it not? Will you please call for the national showing of this important documentary.

    Even more than the importance of what this film documents is that PBS (a public broadcasting service) cannot give in to pressures to censor a film like this. Do we live in America? It is time to stand up to forces that try to curtail the truth, albeit not what the corporations might not like to be aired. The soul of public broadcasting is now on the line. AIR IT!

    Help me keep my trust in PBS: If you bow to the wishes of the Koch brothers, that will definitely tarnish my trust in the completeness and accuracy of whatever is reported and discussed in NewsHour, FRONTLINE, and the like. Air the documentary, and should the Koch Brothers withdraw their support of PBS shows, that may cause more people to contribute to the support of PBS!

    Every person in America needs to know that billionaires, particularly the Koch brothers, are in control of our government because they can pour huge amounts of money into campaigns all over the country (no telling what their investments etc. really bring in every second), whereas the really good candidates depend upon thousands of small contributions from The People, the true masters of their own government. If only they realized what is happening. Providing of course that they really care about the United States of America, the way good citizens are supposed to be.

  • NPT don't let your integrity be for sale! Show us "Citizen Koch"!
    David Koch has realized that his power and influence can reach far enough to corrupt grassroots people who usually feel obligated to share information to their constituents about corruption and stories of individuals who have gone too far in their greedy pursuits of power and money. Don't let NPT shame themselves with this abhorrent self censorship! This would mean the beginning of the corruption of one of the last news and information sources that was still reporting what we as Tennesseans came to value as a certain liberty. We refuse to claim ignorance as a new standard!!
