• overhaul the child support law
Allow for better fathers rights and his right to face the mother or father, the custodial parent in court. Do away with Master in Chancelory because they are always biased and are violating the right of due process. Add a exception for non custodial parents the same right to file petitions for past.wrongs done to them by custodial parents hiding behin d the dept of social services. This is not for dead beat parents, but for those who want to be apart of their child's life and support their child. Children need both parents, more than just money. If a non custodial becomes disabled there should be a provision that is retro active. No one wants to be gravely I'll and should be allowed to have unjust arrears adjusted. The social security administration should be used to verify any and all income as well as the IRS. ZThis is more about money than the child . Custodial parents should be accountable in some cases and there should be a way for non custodial parents to be given the reasonable latitude to question about the well fair of their child. The right of due process is for every AMERICAN AND LETS MAKE SURR CONGRESS DOES NOT TAKE THAT AWAY. Otherwise it's just a matter of when its lost for every American.

  • Adequate chemistry exams in Dawson college,Montreal!
This petition was made, because our chemistry teacher gave us an inadequate chemistry exam ,that jeopardized our average grades with at least 10%. *Before the exam she refused to give us similar problems ,because she didn't have time ( her exams are very unique;she is not taking exercises from any book;also we paid around 200 dollars for this course + 130 dollars for the book ). *At the end of the semester she admitted that our book is really bad even if all of our homework exercises were from this book *There was a mistake in the exam. *She didn't do with us even one single problem/exercise step-by-step - she is explaining just the idea without to do the calculations *She is never in her office during her office hours and she is never explaining with details *In the class there are people who haven't studied chemistry in the last few years ,who are working ,who have kids and who are immigrants (our mother language is not English) *On the same material when we had quizzes our grades were around 80%-100% ,now our grade on this exam is under 50 % *There are students who are paying private tutors just to keep up with this course. This problem exist since a lot of time ,but nobody had complained before that. The college administration also didn't know what is going on.I sended a letter to her ,but i still don't have a response! The same teacher will make the final exam and the chances not to pass it are also really big !! This petition is not against the teacher ,it is against her exams ,that are not based on our books! The goal of the petition is to have a chance to do the same exam with another teacher and the grades from the previous exam to be deleted!!The new exam must be made entirely from the new teacher!!

  • Stand with homeowners risking arrest to end Too Big to Jail
Since 2008 not one banker has gone to jail for destroying the economy, stealing our homes, our wealth, and our secure future. After years of resisting evictions, marching on big banks, delivering hundreds of thousands of petition signatures and even a popular movement like Occupy Wall Street, thousands of people have gone to jail for demanding accountability. But not one banker. It’s time to go directly to DC and interrupt business as usual. Hundreds of homeowners, foreclosure victims and allies will converge on Washington DC from May 18-23 and engage in dramatic action at the Department of Justice, holding the Obama Administration accountable for not being willing to jail any bankers. They are planning a host of powerful events for the entire week including non-violent civil disobedience. The latest outrage was in April when some 4 million families whose homes were stolen by Wall Street criminals in 2009 and 2010 started getting a total of $3.6 billion in compensation. Most will receive less than $1000. For losing their homes. That doesn’t even count the $12.8 trillion [1] that the greed and recklessness of Wall Street criminals cost our economy since 2008 or the $3 trillion [2] we spent propping up big banks. If our system of justice worked, two things should have happened: (1) those responsible should have been prosecuted for their crimes, and (2) borrowers should have been compensated for these violations. Instead AG Holder and the DOJ have given the bankers get out of jail free cards and federal regulators have allowed them to pay pennies on the dollar to people who lost their homes. That's what happens with Too Big to Jail. So we’re taking things right to the doorsteps of the decision-makers in DC. Stand with those going to DC to risk arrest through peaceful civil disobedience by signing on to the petition. We can guarantee your signature will be delivered to the very heart of law enforcement in the United States. We can’t wait for justice any longer. We’re going to DC. And we’ve got Too Big to Jail in our sights. • Politicians' salaries and benefits
It is time any and all representatives voted into office stop voting themselves raises and added benefits. No pay raises should be allowed unless put up for a vote by those who elected these people. It is time politicitians who love to talk so much about accountability show they are also responsible and willing do as they say.

  • REPAYING FOR 44 YEARS!
I took out a student loan in 1969. It's 2013 and I'm still paying on it. I asked the STATE OF NEW YORK if we could work a deal out, where I can pay a percentage of the balance which is about $9000. "NO YOU MUST PAY IT OFF IN ENTITRELY!" was the response I received. I'm 62 now. So the loan I took out in 1969 will not be paid off while I'm alive. There must be people in a similar situation. Even though I work in health care, shouldn't I r3eceive the same forgiveness as teacher got in the 60's and 70's?

  • NC GOP: Don't put teenagers health at risk!
A bill has been introduced in the state legislature that would require minors to get parental consent, and notarized consent in some cases, before they could receive testing for STDs or birth control. Not only would this bill needlessly shame teenagers when they are most vulnerable, it would also put the health and well-being of all North Carolinians at risk.

  • Gerrymandering of federal congressional districts
Democracy CANNOT exist when any political party has the congressional districts gerrymandered in such a way that only their candidates can be elected. There is hardly any reason to vote in state elections when this situation exists, the fix is in and it is by law.

  • Congree and The Senate Perks
I do not know how to write it - but the way Congress/Senate works they really are part-time workers. So don't you think they shouldn't get health care like all of us part time workers? I need help in wording this petition correctly. Thanks
