In the world of climate, what goes up doesn’t always easily come back down. That’s true of atmospheric CO2 levels, and while we are struggling to control CO2, we must also immediately cut methane and black carbon to help preserve the climate we have for the coming decades. As James Hansen, perhaps the world’s most famous climate scientist, has said, “Expected difficulties in slowing the growth rate of CO2 and eventually stabilizing atmospheric CO2 amount make the non-CO2 (climate factors) all the more important.” We agree, and we implore our leaders to immediately set more ambitious targets for methane and black carbon. Methane could be brought down globally to 1250ppb in two decades. This could probably be achieved without any U.S. legislation at all, but with a global effort, under U.S. leadership, to restructure, expedite and greatly strengthen already existing programs at UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) and elsewhere.

STOP SACRIFICING OUR GREAT AMERICAN BOYS

Public workers , teachers anyone collecting a state pension having prior work in a job where social security was collected is being unfairly discriminated against by the federal government. Since 1985 when the government enacted this rule for social security receipients millions of people have had their social security payment eliminated or drastically reduced. We are asking congress to eliminate the WEP and allow those who have earned a social security benefit to collect what they have earned.

We bring a class action lawsuit against those who deliberately and with prior knowledge did create destruction of this entire planet, despite scientific evidence of the consequences of their actions. Motivated by greed, not unlike the tobacco industry, they have caused tremendous damage. The law suit would be on behalf of all persons 18 to 25 who have inherited this mess and will pay for it.

I been a cab driver for 3 years. The PPA, the authority that regulates cabs in philadelphia revoked my license because I have used Square to accept credit card payment. No fraud was involved, The PPA insisted that i have to use the credit card machine in the cab. Since I am an Independent Contractor, I do not believe this is valid. Help Support Cab driver against an vicious all out attack on cab drivers in the city of Philadelphia.

I have family members perfectly capable of working but are not because they once committed a nonviolent, 1st time drug offense which taints their background making it harder for them to obtain work.
