Small food-plot ownership granted by the government to the people. Land has traditionally belonged to the people and not rich landowners who use it to hold value and employ people, but rarely to grow organic, local food. It belongs back into the people's hands to help the planet heal faster and secure healthy living for us.

This petition voices the opinions of the people of Colorado. This petition is started in opposition to the new gun control laws that have now plagued Colorado. We are petitioning to have Gov. Hickenlooper removed from office. And replaced with a more traditional gun friendly candidate. Hickenlooper has said our opinions and voices dont matter. Show him he was wrong to think that and it will cost him his job!

Congressmen have wonderful pay and benefits that are at a cost to taxpayers. Congress needs to provide evidence their performance has justified their salaries and benefits. If they are unable to pass legislation that is for the good of the American people, they should not be allowed pay or benefits. It's called pay for performance and Congress should not be exempt!

The United States spends (wastes) more money and has poorer outcomes than most Western and some Third World countries. Even poor Cuba devotes 70% of its budget to health care, social service and education and every citizen (and tourists) receives free health care. We have no excuse for having such a bad record of health care in the U.S. Support a Single Payer Universal Health Care bill in California to be the model for the nation. We need a new bill. Contact your State Senator and Assembly person and request that they author a bill such as the previous AB810.

We pay the Senators and we deserve a vote. We need to see the votes on record so that we can challenge our representatives. A vote on record cannot be disputed.

Under Presidents ARRA of 2009 many roads have been improved, however without any consideration to bicyclists. We need more bicycle lanes in the state. Such efforts will keep the residents of the state healthy thus, reducing healthcare costs reducing pollution in the state.

I have silently stood by and watch people on minimum wage go from sufficient income in the '70's slowly and continually shrink without any significant increase for the last 40+ years. Did inflation stop with it? No, and who has benefitted? The companies have and obviously need to be forced into paying employees what should have been theirs all along.

Texas is one of 3 remaining states that has yet to actively repeal a law criminalizing the private, consensual, intimate, sexual relations between homosexual people, 10 years after the Supreme Court of the United States invalidated such laws as unconstitutional in 2003. We do not want Texas to place its role in history as the very last state in the nation to repeal this language from the law books. Please stand up and say you want this stigmatizing law to go once and for all!

Hello, My Name is Cierra Walker and I'm starting this petition so Florida could legalize and/or decriminalize cannabis. Many people suffer from diseases that cause alot of pain. Which can be treated with cannabis. Nobody have ever died from cannabis,but many have from alcohol,cigarettes uses,and prescription drugs! They are still legal.Why? When cannabis have many medical uses and NO harm to the body. I say they just want us to kill ourselves. Also send alot of people to jail for non-violent crimes. So help me help those who can't or to scared to help themselves.

Tell the student loan authority to reimburse payments taken from disability and social security checks. Seniors and the disabled shouldn't be burdened with these payments.
