• Save extra food for shelters
    I see restaurants and stores throw away food all the time. I heard about a boy starting a petition to end this before in another state. All the shelters or food banks have to do in order to receive the leftover food is sign off on suing if a person gets sick from the food. Please sign this and show that you care about people and are tired of this waste!

Additionally, the XL pipeline would present serious potential environmental risks to the the general well-being of wildlife, the Earth, and human health. Especially disconcerting is the threat of spills and their possible impact on the major aquifers that they may cross.

    The immigration laws in Alabama are unreasonable. Because it is illegal to give a helping hand to an immigrant without papers, the whole concept of "the good Samaritan" has been trashed in this state. The laws have also led to higher racial profiling in a state where racial profiling is already high. Individuals who have been "legal" immigrants for years have been stopped by police, and there are those who fear being stopped. Also, families are split when children have been born to illegal immigrants in Alabama, and the parents have been sent back to the home country.

  • Financial Programs & Assistance for Elderly & Seniors
    Before Haley took office there was RESOURCES established by Lt Gov Bauer for Seniors & the Elderly , 2 weeks after (SHE) took office these programs were CUT or Deleted. There are many seniors who have worked hard for this state thier entire life. Many are HOMELESS or on the verge of being without a place to stay. the Elderly has to stand or wait in lines for at least 5 to 8 hours at local agencies for assistance with UTILITY bills only to be told there is NO MORE FUNDS AVAILABLE. Now Haley REFUSES to accept any FEDERAL MONEY!!! We the ELDERLY, SICK, need help .
