I feel and so do many others feel it is a great idea to hire Ray Lewis on ESPN. This man has shown great integrity and is a wonderful role model and has brought so much to Baltimore Maryland and the football industry. this man has proven himself and he deserves to be hard on ESPN.

I have worked and paid into the system since I came to this country in 1991. On applying for my Social Security benefits I was told I am subject to a windfall elimination of approximately $100 per month simply because I worked in another country and am entitled to receive a pension from that country. I understand there are more than a million people in the U.S. who suffer such a reduction in their paid-for benefits. This provision is antiquated and grossly unfair and should be repealed.

Everyday my life and those of my fellow Long Islanders are impacted by the thousands of plastic shopping bags littering the landscape. They are flying from the tree limbs, blowing along the highways, and harming the wildlife. I would like to see these bags banned and reusable bags required.

Most of you in public office know nothing about, or take the issue of poverty serious, because your lives are not affected by it. However, it's a shame that here in America, the Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave~Most don't feel Free, and you as Politicians are not administering any kind of Bravery for the People you serve. Poverty is not a Black or White issue, it's an American issue. And for any politician, or President for that matter~to move along through other issues, as if, Poverty is something that will fix itself, is very much so, a Moral and Ethical situation~that needs not addressing, but a hurried SOLUTION.
