  • State of Arkansas's Right to Work Laws
The Right to Work Laws in Arkansas need to be repealed. They are keeping the state at the bottom of the financial chain in this country. Example: My Daughter worked at Sonic Drive In Restaurant, she got paid $3.50 per hour, and any tips she got were counted towards her minimum wage. She is the only bread winner in her household, he is temporarily disabled, and the tips on top of minimum wage would help considerably. This might work in a high end establishment, but most workers don't work in such an establishment. All this does is keep the employer from having to pay minimum wage. It also gives the employer the right to fire someone without just cause. The employee can be released for ANY reason, IE; if the employer had a bad day they could fire someone on the spot for nothing that has to do with work. It's just wrong , and needs to be changed.

  • STOP EXORBITANT DRUG PRICE FIXING
Obama care included a provison that the health programs would not be allowed to negotiate discounts for drugs from the drug companies. This kills competition and the longterm costs to the heathcare system will be highly inflated. We must uphold free market to keep these costs competitive. This needs to be applied to all govenrment funded programs (include VA system)for all drugs and supplies.

  • Stop Congress pay check when they STOP ours!
I used to go to work every day . When I didn't go to work I did not get paid. If I decided not to work my boss probably would have fired me. So this is why we american are paying congress a pay check of $174,000. a year for 41days of work.I feel if they do not work don"t pay them. That is our money that is paying them and we sent them to Washington to work not sit in the well of Congress and do nothing.

  • Campaign Finance Reform for Fair Elections in NV
The only viable way to create a modern campaign finance system that enables candidates to swear off special interest money and to run vigorous campaigns is to implement a public financed system that relies on a blend of small donor and public funds. Doing so has been proven to end the pervasive conflict of interest created by the current system, open the door to greater involvement by citizens in the electoral process and restore a measure of confidence by the American people in the integrity of their institutions and in the people who serve them. Most importantly, it liberates members of all political parties from the endless pursuit of money that begins when they assume office, and instead allows them to concentrate on the people’s business. Such a system renews the people’s faith that politicians are working diligently on their true responsibilities and the core purpose of representative government.
