On the one month anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, the National Rifle Association launched a free mobile application for Apple's iPhone and iPad that allows users, even children, to shoot at targets with various types of guns, including assault weapons. Initially the app was recommended for users as young as 4. On January 15th, Apple responded to our concerns by raising the recommended age to 12 and adding warnings of graphic violence (http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/nra-shooting-game-longer-preschoolers-18223790). This is a step in the right direction, but the app itself is shameless, insensitive and counterproductive, whether played by a 4-year-old or a teenager. We ask Apple to rescind approval of it.

Every time I see a position open to apply for,I am directed straight to a Temp. agency....Has our job market been monopolized to me submitting my personal info. to a mediator service to pimp my skills!!! Why would I need a mediator if my skills are in fact what is required of the position I am applyig for? I recently worked for a company that had 3 different services hiring for an 90-day to 120 day project labeled possible temp. to perm. employment...If the add would've been advertised "Hiring Possible Temp. - Perm. employees based on proformance and skill set for 90-120 day project,please apply at", I would've been in line to apply as I'm sure many others would have...But lately there are no company interveiws for potential hire only employment pools to be serviced as employment coordinators seem fit(employment pimps), according to the commission your hard labor can bring into their agency(similar to Brothalized employment right? You speak with the head Misterist and explain what you are looking for and she matches those skills to someone of that desire and skill set,yet the money only switches hands person to misterist,laborer's left with tired back and compensation at bay...).And if you are working for a temp.service and don't know when your last day of work may suprise you...Then you need to do something about this issue in Illinois...We are the people,our votes count!!!! We make the labor force not the other way around...Let it be known that there is employment avail. out there and you and I are not going to allow Temp. agencies to pool and sale the jobs avail. to us or our skills...That's what the human services' department is for!!!! That's what 90 day probation period is for!!! Why am I working for someone else in a company that has positions avail.,they get my check,dock their percentage and then give me my little pennies to the dollar??? Several members of congress have stated that they would rather shutdown the government than extend the debt ceiling,with out matching or more spending cuts.

House Republicans continue to hold the debt ceiling hostage as a way to get President Obama to agree to the Republicans spending cut ideals. However House Republicans are prepared for an additional $3 million taxpayer dollars to be spent on the legal defense of the Defense of Marriage Act of which the president has already declared as unconstitutional and the supreme court will discuss later this year. If the Republican party is as serious about spending cuts as they say they are then this is one of the cuts that should come first. Stop the Republican hypocrisy.

Let's give a 10% pay cut to all members of Congress effective immediately. Stop pension for life to lawmakers who serve just 1/2/3 terms set up a scale according to time served. We the American people cannot take any more cuts. It is time they give a little too!

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a new free trade agreement, the documents of which are being withheld from the American people and Congress itself. President Obama has been negotiating this partnership behind closed doors with 600 corporate representatives and multiple Asian nations. He has broken his campaign promise to renegotiate NAFTA, and is now going as far as to create corporate-friendly deals behind the backs of the citizens who elected him. Any international agreement that will affect the body politic should be made accessible to the body politic, no questions asked.
