Appoint Marisa DeFranco for Interim SenatorSelecting Marisa DeFranco as the interim Senator to fill John Kerry’s seat until an election can be held would be a most courageous, wise and appropriate appointment for the people of Massachusetts. .Marisa DeFranco, an attorney with 17+ years of experience, is an expert in immigration law, an issue that President Obama has made a top priority. To meet Marisa is to know immediately that not only will she bring a rare energy and much needed breath of fresh air to the Senate but also an expert voice to the immigration discussion.160 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jean Palmer

Require a Mental Health Evaluation of Alex Jones to Determine if He's Fit to Own A Gun.There is a White House web site for the public to write Petitions and gather signatures. Once a petition has 25,000 signatures it will be addressed publicly by the White House. The gun nuts are using it profusely and networking NRA members, etc., to keep any gun control from happening. This is where Alex Jones started a Petition to deport Piers Morgan because he's been having forums on gun control and believes assault weapons should be banned. When Alex was on the CNN show, he acted insane -- yelling and gesturing and threatening Piers and calling for armed revolution. The thought of him with any firearms is scary. Anyway, his fans signed by the thousands and have another Petition to charge Sen. Diane Feinstein with Treason for proposing an Assault Weapons ban. They have many Petitions on the site to go after anyone who supports any gun control and of course, the usual threats to the President. I think it's time some of us on the other side start writing Petitions, too. My first one is to Require a Mental Health Evaluation of Alex Jones and require them as part of background checks. Please link to it and sign it. You have to have so may signatures before it appears on the Public site. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/require-mental-health-evaluation-alex-jones-determine-if-hes-fit-own-gun/mQFL85cR Short URL: http://wh.gov/PzIx Sharon Callaghan Camano Island, WA.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sharon Callaghan

Medicare, or government health insurance, for all members of Congress.People should be concerned about this issue, because Congress is the recipient of government largesse in a way that no citizen is. Perhaps Congress would be less glib about the changes they make that affect the elderly and disabled if they received the same insurance from the government.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maureen Meehan

White House Pardon for Aaron SanduskyAaron Sandusky was personally targeted by the DEA for legally dispensing marijuana in accordance with California law. More states have, and will, legalize the growing, sale, and distribution of marijuana. American citizens should not have the fear of federal prosecution while they are within their rights in their respective states. A clear message needs to be sent by the President that pursuing individuals under an outdated federal law will not be tolerated.369 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Susan M Cleveland

Miscarriage of JusticeDecember 27th 1995 at 809 North Orange Grove Blvd, Pasadena, Ca 91103 a fire was started on the concrete porch of a resident. Mr. Chester Duncan was picked up beat by a police officer, taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital after treated was taken to jail. Nijjar Realty Inc. also DBA Pama Management Company (Swaranjit "Mike" Nijjar) owner of this property for 17 years now has held on to evidents that would have made it possible for Mr. Duncan not to have to do a day in prison however he has done over 17 years. Mr. Nijjar live in a 30-room Tuscany-Inspired Estate in Monrovia, it's no wonder he has been libeled millionaire slumlord. Nijjar and Pama Management are two of the largest landlords in Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino County areas. Before I go on let me say this 1 person = a lawsuit more than 1 person = a class action lawsuit. If there is anyone out there with a problem with Mr. Nijjar and his company's please contact Ezz The Pain Inc on facebook or at [email protected]. It is now time to stop the bullying from the millionaires that feel they can't be touched. Penal Code 451 (c) is a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for 16 months, two, or three years. 35 to life was giving to Mr. Duncan and there was no Arson. Arson is when there is a burning of a structure, forest land or property, there was none and again for over 17 years Mr. Nijjar and his company's has sat on this information. For Legal reasons and the safety of Mr. Duncan I can't go any further however let's look at what Mr. Duncan has missed in those 17 years...75 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lucy Duncan

Stop the "revolving door"We need a bill to prevent state legislators from becoming lobbyists immediately after leaving office. It happens too often: our elected officials learn how the system works and make contacts, then leave office as our representatives to become lobbyists with bigger pay-checks and no accountability. If they represent us in the past, they have no need to become lobbyists in the future. Protect democracy, support state Rep. John Kowalko's "revolving door" bill to end this practice. Thank you.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matthew Brandi

The Aaron Swartz "Protect Americans From Unjust Prosecutions" ActI honor Aaron Swartz and appreciate his work, amongst many works, to defeat the now defunct SOPA Bill (Stop Online Piracy Act) and protect our freedom of information. His creative flame and passion for America's growth has blown out. For, Aaron took his own life, it appears, in part due to a wildly unjust prosecution which included 13 felonies and 50 years of possible jail time for a crime (or not a crime!) that the offended parties didn't even fully support the prosecution of. All at a time, when banksters have ripped America off, of billions of dollars with very few prosecutions of these offenders.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nate Wightman

Fund for victims and families of gun violence. This country's gun violence is far higher then anywhere else in the industrialized world. Innocent lives are shattered every day from illegal use of guns. As a resident of Colorado, with the recent Aurora theater shooting in mind - there is one victim that sustained a head wound resulting in tens of thousands of dollars of cost and with the victim and his family with no insurance - I suggest the following: This blight of gun violence is a threat to us all and I feel it's time for a fee to be assist to the sale of fire-arms and ammunition to be set aside for victims - though no fault of their own - of gun violence and their immediate families for medical and funeral costs of those with tragic ends.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mike Kozak
