STOPPING OUR CONGRESS REPRESENTATIVES FROM CONSIDERING THEMSELVES AS AN ELITIST GROUP

Last night, House Republican leadership scrapped $60 billion in relief for Hurricane Sandy's victims. At the last minute. With no explanation. This bill will help repair thousands of homes in New York and across the region. It will rebuild damaged roads and bridges. And it will help displaced families get their lives back together. Disaster relief is the federal government's responsibility, whether the disaster happens in New York or New Orleans. It's time Congress acted responsibly.

The Speaker of the House, Rep. Boehner (R-OH 8th District) refuses to bring Sandy Aid to the floor for a vote. This petition proposes the immediate expulsion of Rep. Boehner (R-OH 8th District) from the 112th and 113th Congresses, under Article 1 Section 5 of the US Constitution for disorderly behavior and criminal negligence. The States affected by Super Storm Sandy are some of America's oldest. Since States like New York, New Jersey and Connecticut fought to form this Nation 236 years ago, no storm has done more damage to the landscape of our coast. Rep. Boehner's inaction is unconscionable. He elevates partisan ideology over the needs of his fellow citizens and brings shame to our Capitol, to our Founders and to us all. Please sign this petition urging his immediate removal.

Please ask the officials of the Greater Los Angles County and Los Angeles representatives to excel and speed up building new rail system directly To/From major Los Angles County airports, especially LAX. Also provide ONE new car rental location for all car rental companies, which is similar in other U.S major cities. Los Angeles is so behind in this type of infrastructure. Both infrastructures will reduce pollution, congestions, and provide more local jobs.

Shell Oil has had an accident already in the Arctic in their drilling of test wells. Seventeen crew members were rescued, but the fate of endangered animals is not so clear. What happened to Pres. Obama's "promise" to keep another "BP" from happening? The US is one of the major exporters of oil. Do we need to ruin all our pristine areas and kill endangered species for the sake of greed?

Our currently criminal system is BROKEN!!! It costs us upto $50,000 to keep a criminal incarsirated while the maximum Social Security payment is $30,156. Congress is attacking Social Security to people who payed into the system all their lives expecting to get back what they deserve while criminals who have broken laws are getting almost twice as much.

Loud, disruptive air traffic noise, coming from Brackett Airport affects our quality of life in the residential Ganesha Hills area of Pomona, CA. Planes and helicopters often from flight schools, continually loop over our homes for hours most days each week. During events, loud planes with banners fly over head for hours at a time. It is a challenge to be able to enjoy our homes, patios and yards. We want the flight pattern changed away from our homes for the safety and well being of our citizens.

Our government is looking to find major areas for reducing expenditures. Our percapita healthcare costs are more than twice the cost of the currently most expensive country yet we don't enjoy better health. We all know Obamacare was written by industry lobbyists that sought to maintain the income of Insurance companies, doctors, insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, etc.

Increasing participation in Social Security and Medicare by all tax supported employees including all federal, state and local emloyees will make SS and Medicare much stronger and will give our legislators a personal stake in the success and viability of Medicare and Social Security.

John McCain and a couple of other congressmen have gone on record through reliable sources as planning on driving the United States of America to INSOLVENCY if they do not get their political desires. This is a complete mis-use of their power, and also TREASON! They need to be indicted by the Justice Department to send a clear message that this sort of conspiracy will not be tolerated in the Land of the Free!!

The legal drinking age at 21 has increased pregaming by underage drinkers. When pregaming (drinking before going out so they don't have to show ID) the risk of : drunk driving increases, alcohol poisoning increases, risky behavior increases. When the legal age was 18 it was appropriate. At 18 kids went away to college, entered the service and went out on their own. College students (and anyone else for that matter) will drink no matter what, especially when they are away from home. By making it legal, these kids won't have to resort to drinking as much as they can before they go out to avoid using phoney ID's.

I have been unemployed since November 2007 and have been unsuccessful in find work in my field of banking. I have been discriminated against because of my age, credit and race. It is hard to proove, but I know it exist. there needs to be some training for the chronically unemployed who were laid off because of no fault of their own. Also there needs to be a 5th unemployment extension for those chronically unemployed over 50 years of age. I am presently not receiving any benefits and my benefits have been exhausted.
