We have allowed other countries lower wages, a lack of workers safety and disregard for the environment to be our Achilles tendon for too long and it's time to real that in and balance the economics of all workers in the world for stability.

Too many Congressional people make a career out of being in Congress. I feel they make more than most in our nation, have better benefits, more vacation time than should be. They have it better than our service people. The longer they are in the more they can work the system. Terms limits would give others a voice to be heard, not the career politition.

Pakistani channels (Urdu1, GEO etc.) are airing foreign shows (Indian, Turkish etc.) that are slow poison to our country. These foreign shows are taking people away from their culture. Showing explicit scenes onscreen and destroying the mindsets of people is not acceptable. If this continues Pakistanis and Muslims will lose their values and get lost in the shuffle. Additionally, it will lead to poverty and financial crisis. Now that channels have foreign content, they are not buying local content, which results in people losing their jobs and the country as a whole facing a loss. Our drama industry may also have to suffer the way our film industry suffered. There will be no jobs, no money and no opportunities for our youngsters. THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED! An estimated 34 gun deaths occur daily in the United States. These thousands of deaths a year include many innocent children. Unlike the tragedy in Newtown, CT, they go largely unreported by our national media. In order to provide greater balance in the current public debate of guns and proposed gun regulations, we believe the media should give a regular and periodic report providing the name and age of the victims.

Our government is no longer for the people or by the people. Our Congressmen are only looking to keep their position, power and benefits!

In order to stay safe and warm when the I-5 interstate mountain freeway to California is not passable due to snow and ice, semi-truck drivers leave their motors running through out the night in the parking lot beside our local Ashland Oregon Shop 'n Kart just off exit 14. Like many local Ashland residents, My daughter and I live less than a block away, and I regret to report that we can smell diesel fumes and hear their engines rumbling durring these hazardous traveling times. Unfortunately however, the nitrogen oxide (NOx) adsorbers, sulfur dioxide, and sulfur trioxide released when burning diesel gasoline hovers in the air in our neighborhood, due to the weather trapping effect called an inversion layer, which is a common event in Ashland Oregon. We must require resting semi-truck drivers to shut off their engines after 10 minutes.

I'm not smart enough about electric vehicles to write this petition, to 'argue' it. But for obvious reasons it would provide a key tipping point to a renewable energy future if the United States Postal Fleet, all the mail trucks therein, went electric.
