• Congressional term limits, removal of entitlement retirements and Congress must ask the people fo...
Term Limits for all members of congress. Our country has been forced into economic crisis because of congressional members not listening to the People, and allowing big business to take over this country. Big business is investing all the money they can to control how this country is run. It is time to put an end to big business running this country by electing congress persons that support the Constitution as it was written - Of the People, For the People and By the People. This will help eliminate one party's agenda holding the American people hostage to its ideology. It is time to put an end to career congress persons.

  • Senator Nelson: Stop forced vaccinations
I was fired from my job a year ago for refusing to get the flu vaccine. The state of Texas is forcing healthcare workers to be vaccinated w/o consent. Now, there is a law that would demand all kindergarteners to receive forced vaccinations as well

  • Congress: Pass a Constitutional Amendment saying Corporations are not People.
Congress, and then the states, should pass an Amendment to the US Constitution that sets up a separate status for Corporations as business organizations--not as Persons. Corporations cannot vote. They cannot be put in jail for breaking laws. They cannot serve in the military or in public office. Yet, they have the financial strength to overwhelm ordinary citizens when it comes to representation in government, in court and in our campaigns. We risk the erosion of our rights as individual citizens and the ultimate transformation of our government to a government not of the People, but of the Corporations. There is a significant amount of case law giving corporations a number of rights, and any amendment should be carefully written to keep what's good and eliminate the preferential treatment Corporations have over ordinary citizens that is bad. Members of Congress, please pass a Constitutional Amendment that clarifies that Corporations do not have all the rights that the People of the United States do, because they are not people and cannot fulfill all of the same responsibilities that Citizens of the United States must fulfill.

  • Jobs for college graduates now!
My two young-adult sons graduated from college last May and since then, like many others their age, they have been unable to find the least of jobs to earn some pocket money, much less to mention entry-level positions at any company. Our young people need jobs and both public officials as well as coporate leaders must address this issue.

  • Term Limits for Congress and the Senate
an amendment to the Constitution that will limit the terms of office of senators and House members, nothing will change. We know for a fact that once our legislators have established themselves in office they suddenly think that they are indispensible, and they cut deals to protect their coveted seats.

  • Keep the Gilda in Gilda's Club
Gilda's Club is a non-profit organization that exists to provide a place for people living with cancer, their families and friends to come for emotional support. It is named after the late, great Gilda Radner, who died from ovarian cancer in 1989. It was founded by her husband, Gene Wilder, Joanna Bull, Radner's cancer psychotherapist during the time she had cancer, and broadcaster Joel Siegel. Now they want to change the name to "Cancer Support Community" as they feel younger people don't know who Gilda was and therefore there is no meaning in the name. As a single mom who is fighting cervical cancer, I assure you, the name means something. I don't want to go to a "Cancer Support Community." I hear the word cancer enough on a daily basis. It is sterile and meaningless. It is not a home. It is not a safe place. It is not a place I feel I can turn to. Gilda's Club is. Gilda once said cancer gave her "membership to an elite club I'd rather not belong to." THAT is a concept we all can relate to. THAT is someplace that I know will understand. There are many organizations, educational institutes, hospitals, and more named after people that the younger generations may not know. They are named after these people for reasons. Instead of striping them of their names, let us educate and keep the memory of those people alive. Gilda deserves it. Please help us keep the Gilda in Gilda's Club.

When an insurance co. does not have you insured for collision, yet they consider the bodily injury part of the case settled if you get any money to repair your car, That law should be reversed, They have no interest or you insured for collision so they should have nothing to say if you get money to fix your car.

  • Promoting democracy in Africa is benefitial to US interests
Current US foreign policy is benevolent and non engaged in promoting real democracy in African countries ruled by dictators such as the case of Cameroon in Central Africa. President Paul Biya has ruled Cameroon for 30 years through fraudulent elections and on one occasional paid retired congress people huge sums of money to validate a frudulent election. Under President Paul Biya, Cameroon has remained stagnant with doctors doing major surgery without the use of anesthestics. Many young Cameroonians are denied the opportunities to educate themselves or to be gainfully employed leading to droves of Cameroonians leaving the country by any means possible and occasionally losing their lives when attempting to cross the Sahara desert to reach Europe. Seeking opportunities in other countries has become a major factor linked to lack of opportunities for Africans in their own countries despite vast potential and resources. Dictatorship such as the entrenched one one in Cameroon has seen a few elites concentrating all the wealth into their own hands with no resources allocated to healthcare, infrastructure, education and much more. American policy makers have to be better educated to bubble up more proactive policies that would improvee the lives of Africans. As a Cameroonian - American, I am very interesting in participatiing with you to to start a petition geared toward policy makers. Please visit youtube to view people undergoing major surgery in Cameroon without the benefit of aneathestics because of the lack of investment in people oriented initiatives because of the hedonism of the dicatorial regime.
