Ohio now has 179 active injection wells for the disposal of fracking waste liquid. There is no manditory disclosure as to the chemicals being used by the different companies dumping 14 million barrels in Ohio this year. 56% of the fracking waste liquid is coming from multiple companies from out of state. Who will be responsible for cleaning up this mess when the well water is contaminated and how many people will have to die before there will be full disclosure of toxic chemicals being used.

Estimates for 2012 presidential campaign spending is approximately $2.2 billion dollars and $6 billion for all campaign spending. Commissioners are willing to spend less than $200,000 to provide fluoride treatment of drinking water. We cannot safely hike that way anymore, since the target shooting has escalated, nor do we enjoy the peace and quiet in our own home that should be our right. The shooting goes on all hours of the day, every day of the week, and includes semi-automatic weapons. The shooters shoot at targets including garbage and live trees (which are now dead or dying) and leave all kinds of litter behind, including lead bullets and shell casings.

Many people in the United States no longer want to celebrate Thanksgiving because they believe that we have lied about our history with Native Americans and exaggerated what they might have done to us while denying what we did to them. I would like to see the celebration of Thanksgiving be an opportunity to make fundamental change in that history.
