I believe most people making over $250,000 are willing to pay 3.9% more in taxes to help the country at this time. Republican leaders aren't representing those making over $250K (even most Republicans making this much) well by refusing to compromise. Let's give the message to Congress that wealthy people do care and we want them to give up being stubborn on this issue.

Federal guidlines need to be strengthened to standardize State Voting Guidelines to include Electronic Vote Machines and Early Voting. The most important responsibility of citizenship is to vote -- too many states suppress voter participation by antiquated technology and suppressive rules. Florida is a National Discrace!! There too many confusing and contradicting rules for voting throughout the U.S.A. Lets make all states the same rules for national elections and make all states have early voting at least a week before election day.

TRICARE rates for retirees continue to increase in spite of healthcare changes in this country. TRICARE is a health care program that provides coverage to active duty, National Guard and Reserve service members and their families worldwide. The law requires retired reserve members to pay the full cost of coverage under TRR with no government subsidy. That cost is slightly decreased from the 2012 rates but one must consider that these rates are far above HMO and PPO rates that retired members could purchase on their own without using TRICARE. The disparity between rates for active duty retired service members and retired reserve service members is outrageous. The FY 2013 enrollment fees, effective October 1, 2012 for retired reserve members are as follows: (Tricare, 2012). Individual: $402.11 per month Member and Family: $969.10 per month The FY 2013 enrollment fees for retired active duty service members effective October 1, 2012, are as follows: Individual: $269.28 per year Family: $538.56 per year We must speak out and let our voices be heard. As retired members of the military, we should have some government subsidy to help us have access to healthcare that is affordable. Why is there such a disparity between active duty retired rates and those of retired reserve rates? Many reservists in this country have been mobilized many times in support of the war efforts and ongoing needs of the country. In spite of this, retired reserve members that have completed 20 years or more of service must pay enrollment fees that make it impossible for many of us to afford healthcare. We have now lived about a dozen years with the error of the Bush Tax cuts. They did not bring prosperity, except to the top 1 or 2%. They were what the so-called "job creators" wanted; they got them, and look at the job creation 2001 to present--Bad! Mr. President, you are sometimes too nice a guy. Please do not continue your track record of giving more than half in compromises; your adversaries only continue to disrespect you anyway. End the Bush tax cuts. Sure, find a constructive compromise where the affluent pay their fair Clinton era share if you can, but embrace the fiscal cliff and leap happily over it if that turns out to be the only way to end this destructive policy of your predecessor.

The tax cuts for the wealthy and middle class are soon set to expire. Let's stand together and refuse to give the Republicans the ability to hold the People and the President hostage with this issue. Let them expire...die a natural death. Then let the President and Congress come together from a new beginning and take it where compromise will lead. What a concept!

I can not believe in 2012 we still have voter suppression. This has to stop. How many stories do we have to see in order to recognize the problem. I am tired of people who do not think this is happening. I talk to my friends and they say, well there is voter fraud, really, did you know the governing bodies say they is a very small % in comparison to voter suppression. It has to stop, we have to communicate it to everyone, put a end to it.
