• Tell Congress and the President to Fund and Support Our National Parks - Now and Forever!
Let's put our people power to work in Washington DC - and support our National Parks!  The President, the Senate and the House must fund the government by October 1, or the government shuts down. Partisan politics may continue to poorly affect our Nation's Best Idea, notably, one with bipartisan support for time immemorial. We Americans love our parks, and they love us!  See the bipartisan House letter to the President, the Glowing Economic Report on National Parks, and finally, the report on negative results of the firings, early retirements, and funding freeze. Let's fully fund our parks - in 2026 - and beyond!

  • Boycott Nexstar & Sinclair Media Advertisers!
Because Trump is not a dictator and he cannot take away freedom of speech from comedians and others who he doesn't like.  If he gets away with this, he will try for more and soon there will be no outlets that stand up to him!

  • Call for RFK Jr's Removal: A Danger to the Autism Community
Continuing to fund this agenda and legitimize these views is not only scientifically false, but it is a disservice to our society and an attack on the Autism community. RFK Jr's position allows him to further spread false narratives and beliefs that are not backed up by scientific research. His views continue to take root as he makes further claims about the illegitimacy of routine vaccinations and COVID vaccines, posing a major threat to the health of our country. The position he holds will allow him to make decisions that have and will continue to negatively impact social welfare policy and programs.

Our rights as citizens are being violated. Freedom of speech, due process, healthcare are all in the chopping block. Demand that those who profess they are defenders of democracy to take a stand!

  • Melissa Hortman day of Remembrance
Melissa had a heartbeat and soul just as Charlie Kirk did. Her life was also special and precious. The same thing for her husband Mark and dog. There is so much hate and divide amongst us. America is split in half. Remind us all that we are a united nation! That being a certain political party does not mean your life matters less!

  • Amazon: Stop Violating the Rights of Disabled Employees!
The Moral and Legal Obligation For millions of Americans with disabilities—veterans, short-term, long-term, or permanent—access to employment should not be a barrier or a source of fear. Amazon’s policies, as they stand, exclude hundreds of thousands of employees and up to 70 Million American's with disabilities from applying or retaining employment due to arbitrary, discriminatory practices. For Amazon, the Fortune 2 company, one of the largest in the world with over 500 Billion in revenue per year and over 1.4 million employees, this is simply unacceptable. Amazon, as one of the world's largest employers, has a moral and legal obligation to uphold the rights of its employees. The systemic discrimination and retaliation documented here are unacceptable and must be remedied without delay. Fixing these issues are not optional, these affect the very livelihoods of those with disabilities, whether they can put food on the table or not. Those with disabilities cannot always just find another job, some are wrongfully fired or when experiencing these issues may then go bankrupt, face additional medical issues or go homeless. The requests in this document are not nice to haves. They are not just because we want this, they are necessary to properly be accommodated and to adhere to the ADA. It requires a change of policies, procedures in a transparent way and with input from actual employees with disabilities at Amazon. We call on Amazon leadership to take decisive action—reform policies, uphold the ADA, and create a truly inclusive workplace where all employees are valued and protected. We Stand United Join us in demanding accountability and change. Sign the petition, share your stories, and stand with Amazon employees with disabilities fighting for their rights. Together, we can push Amazon to do better. _____________________________________________________________________ To  Amazon Leadership:  Amazon CEO Andy Jassy S-Team Beth Galetti - SVP, People eXperience and Technology Eric Sjoding - Director, Employee Relations Amazon Bob Rathbun - President Jenna holsberger - Manager, Operations Disability and Leave Services Amazon) Elayna Feltus Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition Ian Wilson - VP and Global Head, Human Resources Theunis Kotze - Sr. Manager, US Accommodations Megan Smith - Head of People Accessibility at Amazon Brent Jaye - President, Amazonian Experience and Technology  ___________________________________________________ Sincerely, Members of Amazon Disability Union & Allies

  • NO HOTEL @ 5301 S. STATE STREET, CHICAGO, 60615
I care about this neighborhood, it’s not just where I live, it’s part of who I am. I’ve seen so much change over the years, but now it’s starting to feel like the kind of change that pushes people like us out. There’s a plan in the works to bring a Hyatt hotel and private athlete housing to land that used to belong to our community. Remember the Robert Taylor Homes? They tore those down with the promise that they’d rebuild and bring families back. That never happened. Instead, CHA and our City Officials are selling off the land to developers tied to elite tennis programs and political insiders. People with money. People with power. People who don’t live here. And honestly? It hurts. It feels like the city is more interested in making deals than keeping promises. They say it’s “development,” but who is it really for? Not the families who used to live here. Not the students whose schools are now half-empty. Not the kids who need safe places to play, affordable homes, or someone to invest in their futures. There’s this guy Kamau Murray,  he runs XS Tennis. He says he’s doing it for the youth, but if you go by there, it’s all elite players, out-of-town visitors, and not much actual connection to the community. And yet, somehow, he’s the one getting city land. It doesn’t add up. I’m fighting this because I believe our neighborhood deserves better. We deserve homes, not hotels. We deserve to be heard, not sidelined. And I’m asking people to sign a petition, to stand with us, because once this land is gone, it’s gone. And so are the families who could’ve come back. So yeah, this is personal. I’m not just angry, I’m trying to do something about it. Because if we don’t fight for our neighborhoods, who will?

  • NJ Legislature must convene regularly
We need our New Jersey state legislature to protect our state from the threats from the federal government on our most vulnerable residents and our democracy. Last week's budget cuts threaten food and housing security. Due to the astronomical increase in ICE funding, we anticipate that actions taken by DHS will increase to the level seen in California, including tanks and military being deployed to MacArthur Park. We have elected our legislators to fight for New Jersey and we need them to be able to react urgently to the unprecedented attacks on our state coming from D.C.

  • Gabbi’s Law: Make Firearm storage MANDATORY in Alabama
Our Message to Lawmakers: We believe in responsible gun ownership and in protecting our children. Gabbi’s death, and many others like hers, should never have happened. We call on our elected officials to act now and pass Gabbi’s Law to ensure no other family endures the pain of losing a child to a preventable tragedy. Let’s save lives through accountability, awareness, and compassion.
