Why on earth do we have to supply more information. We've followed the rules and are legally registered to vote. Why are you messing with a procedure that pre-dates a senior citizen?

A Voter ID law was passed with the intention of denying the right to vote to hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania voters who are legal, law-abiding citizens. Their only crime is that they do not currently have a picture ID, in many cases because they do not drive or own a car. Pennsylvania Republican House Leader Mike Turzai has commented that the passing of this law is going to allow Governor Romney to win the state.

In Sudan, 23 year old Laila Jamool has been sentenced for adultery to death by stoning. She and her 6-month old daughter are in jail. Women of the world, as well as men, must protest this unfair and deadly sentence. As a woman, I am outraged that the world tolerates this treatment of other human beings!

Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Carol Aichele is in charge of the state's new Voter ID law, and she just admitted, "I don't know what the law says." This law may strip up to 758,000 registered Pennsylvanians of the right to vote.

Governor Corbett has signed a Voter ID bill that would disenfranchise tens of thousands of otherwise eligible Pennsylvania voters. Up to 750,000 registered Pennsylvanians do not currently possess the IDs required by the new law at the polls this November. Delaware County Chief Clerk/Director Laureen Hagen has the opportunity to block this outrageous attack on the constitutionally protected right to vote by joining other election officials in taking legally permissible actions to Just Say No to enforcing the Voter ID law.

Jim Forsythe, don't enforce this unconstitutional law on Election Day. It is not allowed by the Pennsylvania Constitution and Federal Law.

Pennsylvania's new voter ID law will require voters to show valid photo ID at the polls at this fall's election for president and state and local offices. Those who voted for this law say it's needed to prevent voter fraud, but they also acknowledge that Pennsylvania does not have a voter fraud problem. Requiring voter ID at the polls will mostly hurt the poor, the elderly, and people of color, who incidentally are likely Obama supporters. One Pennsylvania Republican promoter of this law even boasted that this law will help Gov. Mitt Romney win Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is a swing state, and Montgomery County is crucial to winning the state. This law, unconstitutional according to voter advocates, must not be allowed to deny the rights of eligible voters or steal an election for anyone.

No! I have ID. Many less fortunate do not! Provide every registered voter an ID Card. Other states do this!!
