Congress, Supreme and lower courts,etc get free lifetime insurance. Why are paying for their insurance in the first place much less after they leave. We leave a job, we lose insurance..Want true deficit reduction? Start there..Cut off the bennefits...

I live in a little town called Rocky Ripple, that is now being excluded from a levee project called "Indianapolis North Flood Damage Reduction Project, White River North, Phase III". We have petitioned since 2000 to be added to this project but the Army Corp of engineers is excluding us. We as a tax paying community deserve and demand our right to Flood Protection.

Medicaid is an integral part of our social safety net. I am concerned that a vulnerable sector of our population will be at risk if federal funding is rejected in North Carolina. Please encourage Governor Perdue to accept federal funding for Medicaid.

As the campaigns grind inexorably towards election day, most of the candidates for office are ignored by the media. It is time for any brave media outlet to fill the void in American politics. my two daughters were given im birth control depo provera, a well known dangerous drug blacklabled by the fda for bone density loss. courtney strong passed away on 4/29/10 at 26. her younger sister amber now 25 suffers from osteoporosis, severe in her neck. this drug has been determined to have contributed to courtneys death and cause ambers osteoprosis. they both have/had cerebral palsy and not sexually active. no consent was signed by mother and/or them.this drug requires consent due to past civil action multi million dollar settlement in 2005.

In light of the recent Sikh Massacre in Oak Creek Wisconsin and the Movie Theater Massacre in Aurora Colorado, We believe it is essential to strengthen our expiating assault weapon ban legislation here in California for the protection of our citizens. California Senator Leland Yee's Gun Control Bill SB 249 is an honest attempt to do this and needs to enacted, in this Election Year.

A C.A.F.O. is trying to force it's way into a currently forested area in a residential area in the town of Saratoga, WI. The soil is primarily sand and has a shallow water table with private wells as shallow as 20 feet deep. The C.A.F.O. wants to purchase 8,000 acres for crops and have a dairy with 5700 cows, calves, and heifers. The Saratoga water is at risk of contamination, in addition to 2 trout streams. The C.A.F.O. wants permission to install 47 high capacity wells. This amount of water draw will risk the aquifer and the nitrates will seep into the water table. Please help fight C.A.F.O.'s in Central WI !
